Such a disappointment on my first time eating here. The pizza I had was pepperoni and generally tasteless sort of like box pizza. This was a Wed night and pizzas were half price. Really I would have paid full price for a fresh tasty tomatoey crust old world pizza! Their crust was soft and also without genuine pizza merit. The brownie dessert was cold, flat, definitely a box recipe. Sigh. I was expecting more. I’m a Delaware native and still believe the only great genuine pizza is from Giovannis. The atmosphere here was jovial, however. Our server was very charming. The parking was limited and I paid $ 13.00 include tip for valet parking. LOL to pay for parking in Wilmington when down the road is Big Fish five star with free parking. Oh well live and learn not to return.

Not impressed. Got the spicy sausage pizza. Looks like something I could get anywhere… not to mention I could make a better pizza at home. Over priced. Not very hot temp wise. Not spicy at all… the«spice» was red peppers sprinkled on the top. I expected more. Service was mediocre. Only thing this place has going for it is it’s location…“river front.” Come on Wilmington… we need better options!

Our server was great & the ambience was very relaxing. We started with the crab fries & they were fantastic! They were topped with lump crab meat, old bay & queso. I didn’t want them to end. For dinner I had the seafood fettuccini which was very hearty in seafood(which isn’t the case at most restaurants), but unfortunately it was very well seasoned. It was kind of bland even with the addition of old bay. It wasn’t bad, just not the most tasty. My friend had the grilled salmon, garlic spinach & potatoes. The sides were good, but the salmon was kind of dry & also not very seasoned. I would def return on a warm day to get the full experience & hopefully catch some live entertainment. Plus I want to try one of those wonderful smelling specialty pizzas, a turkey or veggie burger and definitely have at the fries again ;-)

Love this place, I am a fan! I come here mostly in the summer for the outdoor bar. The live band is great and the drinks are the best around for the price. During the summer they have $ 5 mixed drink specials on Friday nights and other awesome weekend specials. I have had the crab fries and pizza too, both were very good. I’ve been to the indoor bar once and had the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus, it was amazing and had enough to share and take leftovers home. Although I have never had an extremely bad experience I give 4 stars because I did have a small problem with one of the bartenders who filled in while our regular bar tender was busy. The riverfront location is another reason I love this place. Great view and ambiance. Can’t wait to go back when it gets warmer!

Came here for drinks and appetizers. The bartenders were efficient and the food was served fast. The pizzas were pretty good. We have great pizza here in NYC and these were pretty good in comparison. The view out over the river is pretty cool. The night we were there there was a live band. They were pretty good.

I have been to Firestone a few times. I like the outdoor patio as it is a nice place to hang with friends in the Summer and dance. The waitresses are very attentive. The food, however, leaves a little to be desired. The reason I am writing this review is due to an incident that happened on my birthday almost a month ago. A friend of mine got sick after eating as a side effect of a surgery that she had. When she came out of the bathroom stall, a female worker said to her, «You have to leave. We don’t allow people like you in here.» My friend tried to explain that she wasn’t drunk(she only had iced tea with her meal) and that her sickness was due to the food and surgery. She was then told again that she had to leave. The woman then watched my friend walk back to our table and continued to watch her until she left. Not wanting to ruin my birthday, my friend did not say anything to a manager at that time, but has left several emails and voicemail messages with no response. THISISNOTHOWYOUTREATYOURPATRONS!!!

The outdoor patio is great when the weather is nice. Food is pretty mediocre, mostly consisting of repurposings of rotisserie chicken and chicken tenders. Outside beers are served in plastic cups. That said, the crab fries were tasty in an unhealthy bar food kind of way, and there were some tasty $ 2 pumpkin beer bottles they were getting rid of, giving this place some upside. There is also some sort of church group that meets here and does shots at the bar, which is kind of entertaining. 5 stars when it’s warm, 3 in the winter or rain

STAYAWAY. CARTOWEDAS A PATRONOFTHERESTAURANT. TOWINGWAS $ 285! Parked the car in the lot to grab lunch with my girlfriend. The girlfriend wanted to take a quick stroll to see the riverwalk, which is right in front of the restaurant. I obliged as it was her first time in Wilmington. We were gone no more than 5 minutes and came back to sit down for lunch only to realize our car had been towed. The manager offered no apologies, no reimbursement, and even worse, they hired the sketchiest of companies to tow my car. The tow company manager showed up in a run down silver car and tried to tell my girlfriend and I to get in the car so he could drive us back. After politely declining, the manager of tow company cussed us out and told us it was going to cost us twice as much to get the car back. We were finally able to negotiate a better price with the tow company, no thanks to FireStone. What a horrendous experience. I will NEVER return.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. A little more upscale than a dive but still casual enough. Terrible parking situation especially during weekends.

Just meh, food-wise. Portions were good, but food was mediocre… Host wouldn’t let us sit in a large booth because they were«reserved for large groups», of which there were none. It was 2PM on a Saturday and the restaurant was mostly empty, with at least half a dozen of these large booths, so this struck us as kind of irrational. They did, though, mail me my credit card after I left it there and left town. Good service!

First off I am sad to see all of the disappointing reviews from other Unilocalers. I’ve been to Firestone on several occasions and never left disappointed. Firestone is one of the restaurants at the Wilmington Riverfront. It is a nice place to have a drink, good food and sometimes a live band. During summer they open their huge outdoor patio, which is a plus. It gives a good view of the riverfront. The staff are always friendly and attentive. They also have valet service, which is awesome because parking at the riverfront sucks lol. I usually start off with pizza as an appetizer. I’ve had a variety of entrees and they all were delicious. The drinks are so-so. i usually go with a glass of wine(or two, depending of what kind of day I had lol). My most recent trip to firestone was this past saturday. As usual I enjoyed my food and wine. We sat on the patio and ate while enjoying the views. Firestone is my go-to place whenever I am out of options. I recommend this place to anyone looking to hang out at the riverfront.

Pretty good food but I was concerned with the offensive sign at the entrance. They modified the sign recently but I question the decision making of management to use such a sign in the first place.

Enjoyed the experience. Mac and cheese was awful. My boys enjoyed their pizzas, my sandwhich was not very enjoyable.

Danger. Not from the crowds and bouncer, but from the food. Group dinner – ordered a steak. Now, let’s see if you can figure this one out. I’ll give you the clues. 1. Was told«you can only have steak done medium. 2. Plate was refrigerator-cold. Hot food and room temp plates are bad, but hot food and refrigerated plate? What gives? 3. Broccoli on plate was raw(not even boiled a bit) and 4. Steak tasted so nasty, I spit out the one bite I took. So did the others of the party. So what happened? Got it yet? They made the steaks in advance(possibly sous-vide) and then put hot meat into the cold, sealed. Bacteria had a field day. The cold plate was the give-away along with the«you can only have medium» They plopped the rotted steak on the plate with raw broccoli and a lump of premade potatoes and tried to heat it under an infrared lamp. By the way, you can’t cook broccoli that way. The rest of the dinner was equally horrid – raw broccoli is offensive with steak, they can’t be bothered to boil it(and Lord knows plain broccoli is pretty lazy.) The potatoes were a nasty lump on the plate of premade crushed reds, warm in the middle and stiff and cold on the outside. To his(slight) credit, the manager came over to offer to take it off the bill(this was a group dinner, so he didn’t even know who was the host – it’ wasn’t me) and offered anything else on the menu – but the meal was over for our party and I had to leave. Plus, I wouldn’t eat there if they can spoil(as in food poison) a steak. What else would you do wrong? Not recommended. Well, I do recommend it to one group – the health inspectors. Come’on down.

I’m just commenting on the night life. We’ve been coming here a lot this summer of 2014 since my girlfriend moved into the area. The crowd is good. You don’t have to worry about getting into any trouble here the staff is excellent and the drink choice is great. The outdoor area is a lot of fun especially with the DJ and the bands who frequent this spot. There is a nice mix of people who come I’ve never had a problem here not have I ever seen a fight or scuffle. The age is mixed. Some young some old and a lot of in between. They have good drink specials on the weekend too. I’ve never spent so much to where I’ll say wtf what did I buy. You can order and eat at the bar or order something when your about to leave. Be aware they only serve pizza after a certain time however there special pizza menu you can’t go wrong with. Come by try it out.

As good as it gets in Wilmington, DE for nighlife. Riverfront restaurant with live DJ and band alternating throughout the night. Light bar menu and $ 7 drink specials until close at 1am.

Could not be more surprised how perfect this place is! Under the tent for drinks, food and conversation all with great vibes keeping the energy moving. Music helps connect the diverse crowd and provide ample opportunity to dance the night away. Food for me is big and the turkey burger, crab dip and even the chicken tenders were all superb. Yeah Wilmington Riverfront… Where it’s happening!
