Man this place has some of the best asada tacos in the area and they load up the meat to! They have all kinds of delicious dishes to choose from! I usually park on the street! The lot is pretty small for my truck but i have no problems getting in and out! I believe $ 1.50 for the asada tacos and $ 7 bucks for a burrito and $ 9 bucks for all meat burritos! This place is a hidden gem! Great food and people here!

This place is the most legit Mexican place I have been to. It is a meat market and to– go place. I was so surprised of how delicious their Caldo de Rey is. It honestly tastes like my grandma is in the back putting it together for me. If soup isn’t your thing then their Carne Asada is pretty good, especially for the price. Since trying out this spot I have return on numerous occasions and have never left disappointed. I highly recommend you come and check it out for yourself.

Their food here is delicious. You can never go wrong with their Tortas. Love that they add avacodo at no extra charge is just part of it. The meat well seasoned… mmmm! Highly recommend it to all those who love Mexican food.

The food has stayed consistent here for the past 40 years! How do I know? My grandfather(P.Flores) founded this business; worked there 7 days a week and would get up(as would I since the age of 12 during summer school and weekends-my choice) at 4:30am to get the carnitas and chiva’s ready daily. When Mr. Flores wanted to sell for his retirement he was soooo picky whom to sell to. He turned down many buyers until he could find someone that could keep it traditional and not turn it into a Taco Bell. He passed away a couple years ago, but since I still live here in the Southbay, I picked up some carne asada tacos(against doctors orders) and we enjoyed them together one last time. We didn’t have the breakfast burritos actually on the menu at that time. It was just something we did because we got there so damn early. I’m glad to see them«officially» being sold now. I would also suggest the carne asada preparada in the meat section. I had to help make it daily when I wanted to be a butcher the way my grandfather was. Not many places still offer the personal service. They will remember you for years to come.

I must say I have mixed feelings about this place! Read on… Finding the place could be easy if you aren’t me! There is parking either in the lot or on the side streets. When you pull up, the building is full of words about what the store has to offer. My husband found this place on Unilocal and said the place was supposed to have good food! First off, I think, it is a Meat Market with groceries. It is kind of crowded in there, but there seems to be a good variety of foods you can buy to take home and make a good meal with! It is a meat market, so there is raw meat available for purchase there. I would venture to say that most people come here for the already cooked foods that is put together for you in the«restaurant» section. Not sure what this area is called. You order what you want, your food is assembled as you want it, then it is weighed and a sticker with the actual price is put on your item(s). Excuse me, they weigh your food? Yes, they weighed our tacos and burrito! I thought they were a set price, as listed on the menu board. You can also ask for jalapenos and whole roasted onions(so good!). After you get everything for your meal, you take it all to the cashier near the front of the store. She rings it up for you. You can then either take your food to-go, eat it in your car, or eat outside, standing next to a very long ledge where you can place your food on. There are no chairs. We chose the last option. Also, there are no plastic utensils. I like to use a fork for things like the onion and jalapeño. The al pastor tacos I had were really, really good! They were a little greasy and messy to eat. I ordered 4 tacos and ate 3, so I took the last one home and my son & his girlfriend really liked their sample of it! My husband ordered a carne asada burrito with meat and beans, and it was tasty! So, this is the dilemma… I really liked all the food & condiments! I just don’t care for the lack of eating space, as in a place to sit and enjoy. Standing out there, we can be watched by the people eating in their cars and by the«local drunk» loitering. For the area, it is par for the course, I suppose. I’m not sure of the hours the El Gallito Taco Truck shows up or when, but there is a sign saying they are there. I would speculate that it is there after the actual store is closed. Come on down, if: — You want good eats with no relaxing place to eat — You are adventurous and don’t mind eating with your backs to people sitting in their cars — You just want to take your food to another location

I went in for some tamales there pretty good. I haven’t been here in awhile. They have hot Mexican food in the back with cafeteria style counter served by lovely ladies in uniform. The parking lot is small & tight you might have to park on the street.

This is one of those little hidden hole-in-the-wall places. Been living in Wilmington a year now but the locals are already more than aware this place exist. From the outside it just looks like your regular everyday Mexican meat market. The inside… Also looks like a typical Mexican meat market. But the back, that’s the gold mine. Just follow the trail of people as there is sure to be a crowd. The food was good not great but worth the price. Customer service is lacking but they get you in and out

Good, authentic Mexican delis are hard to find. The other night we felt like having carnitas tacos, so we went to Flores and bought two pounds of perfectly prepared carnitas. The green salsa the clerk suggested was great, a little spicy, but really good. The guacamole is made fresh daily. You can buy your tortas, tacos or burritos to go, made with your fav. Meats. The homemade chips are still good days after purchase. Try Flores meat market when your in the mood for some real Mexican to go.

Best burrito place in Wilmas. Better than Isaacs in that there is more selection of meats and filling. You order your burrito to your liking.

This place is nasty when they are about to close the ladies from the kitchen get the food that is cooked and they put it on the floor and they mop with the food there without covering it so nasty and last time I saw one of the guys who work at the tacos truck he was carrying the meat to take it inside the tacos truck and he dropped some meat on the parking lot and he just picked it up like nothing and he put it with the rest of the cooked meat, so nasty

Tucked inside of a small Mexican meat market, sits this glorious taco/burrito destination. Funny how places like Chipotle will be like: BAM! fat serving of rice. BAM! fat serving of beans, then, drop a meager tablespoon worth of meat on top. No bueno for my savage appetite. To make an amazing burrito, everything has to be on point, but the meat is what makes or breaks it. Their carne asada here is top-tier, and I’ve been eating tacos in LA since I was crawling. You can taste the citrus flavors in the meat, something which a lot of places lack. Obviously helps that they’re ONLY $ 5 for a GIANT burrito and $ 1.50 for a massive soft taco. The market itself is pretty awesome too. I ended up getting some Mexican candies and random shit to increase my blood pressure.

Wow this place is the real deal. It is your typical looking latino market once you step inside. If you happen to walk pass the the hot food section you will be in for some really good tasting food. I was there the pick buche, tripas and carnitas since the market sell it buy the pound. Taco night at home. Very tasty meats and moist. The parking lot is small in front but pleanty of street parking. While I was waiting to place my order Idid notice many of the locals where ordering soups next time I will stop by to order a soup they looked really good.

Your average Mexican meat market but we’ll deserving of its 5 star rating. It’s the little deli in the back pumping out great food at a very reasonable price. It is unorganized who’s next, no line, no bakery number system, cramped for space. I accidentally ordered in front of someone thought had already ordered.
