This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Brazilian wax. I have been getting them for the past year at many other establishments, just trying out different places to see what I like best. I thought to try here because I saw the good reviews. Well… I wish I never set foot in this place. The lady who was doing my wax, let’s call her «Cindy», had no idea what she was doing. Everything was going well until she put the hard wax on and that’s when it went to hell. She put too much on and on a large area and it wouldn’t come off without bleeding:(she then proceeded to get another lady in the room looking at my lady parts and figuring out what to do. They gave me oil and told me to rub it on to see if it helped… it didn’t…just gave me disgusting oily hands. They both then tried to take it off but nothing was working. I was fed up and embarrassed so I left and had to go home and proceed to take it off myself for 2 hours. So, if you want to end up taking off wax by yourself and have your lady parts look like it got mauled by an animal, then here is your place!!!

I LOVE this place! I have had several services here and definitely recommend! The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The facility is clean and nicely decorated. I have had both spa services and the med services and this is certainly my preferred place. I usually see Casey. She is very up front about services that will help you achieve your beauty goals, and will let you know if something you are interested in isn’t going to yield the results you are hoping for, which I appreciate. They also follow up after you have had a service to ensure that you are doing well, and to see if you have any questions or concerns. Their prices are very good, and they carry excellent products.

I did not realize how bad my first Brazilian was until I went to another salon. The lady here used soft wax and strips (instead of hard was like she said she was going to use), ripping my skin. Did not use fresh sticks after each dip in the wax. Hair was left everywhere and so was wax. she said she turned away African Americans and hated doing Brazilian waxes on first timers… I will never come back here.

The spa is clean and inviting. The staff here are helpful and very friendly. I had IPL treatments done and I love the results. When I went in, I asked for laser resurfacing, which would have cost a lot more, but they told me I didn’t need it. They were knowledgeable about which products would best suit my skin type but they never tried to push me to buy anything extra. I think they’re great.

I’ve been a client For over five years @ GLO. I had to take a few moments to mention how wonderful this spa is! First: it is fresh, clean and beautifully decorated ! Every private room is comfortable and spacious. Next, the professional quality of care is five star. The staff is not only kind & sincere but very intelligent ! Their degrees are stellar. Their Knowledge is priceless.
When it comes to «YOU» and your skin care, best products for your skin type, botox, facial treatments ;etc. Please do not settle for less .
They have helped me so much with my skin problems and facial issues, I’d give them six stars if able. My entire family and I believe In them!

Ive had botox at several different med spas since relocating from the West Coast a few years ago. Finally found THE place to go for injections in Wilmington. The staff is very friendly and not pushy with products — although they do carry Skinceuticals sunscreen which is a dream come true for me after so many years of either too greasy or too clumpy of a facial sunscreen. Casey is an experienced RN with a friendly, welcoming unhurried table side manner — and I highly recommend her for anyone whose nervous about injectables. Jamie gave me a peel last fall and a lot of great advice and tips for lightening the facial dark spots that annoy me. Glo has good ambience, is spotlessly clean and a trip there feels relaxing and pampering.

I went here back in Sept of 2010 and wasn’t impressed that time with the service I had, so I was really hesitant to go again, but I thought I’d give them a second chance. I am SO glad that I did. I scheduled a facial with Rebecca and she was amazing. The bed/​chair that you lay in during the procedure is hands down the most comfortable thing I’ve ever laid on during a facial. And I’ve had LOTS of facials over the course of my life. Even the most expensive and fanciest salons in NYC do not have beds that comfortable. After a few min Rebecca came in and started asking me about my concerns or what I would like from my facial. She then did an evaluation of my skin and came up with a customized treatment for me. It was heaven. She recommended products for me to use, but didn’t seem pushy AT ALL. It was a mere suggestion and if I wanted to buy it, then it was a good investment because it was the best product for my skin. I really liked that because there is nothing that can irk me more than paying for a service and then being up sold during the whole thing. She was very very fun to talk to, and made me very comfortable. It was like getting a facial from someone you’ve known forever. The time seemed to pass buy quickly and I was done. I took a quick look in the mirror as I was getting dressed and my skin already looked amazing. I ended up purchasing several of the products she used on my skin and even booked my next appt to see her. She’s THAT wonderful. I would recommend Glo Medspa for any thing you need done. Super happy I went back.
