The only good part of our experience was the server. I felt bad for her because I know it wasn’t her fault and she was very apologetic about how long our wait was. It was our first and last time there. Way overpriced. You have to buy the sides separate which I never heard of. I paid $ 6 for 6 asparagus which was steamed only no seasoning at all, and $ 10 for a wedge salad. In my opinion Applebee’s wedge salad is way better and half the cost. Basically you can save your $$$ and most likely have a better meal in your own home.

After living in Wilmington for almost 6 years and going to Harry’s Seafood a few dozen times, I finally made it to Harry’s Savoy Grill. The meal definitely didn’t disappoint and the price matched the quality. I went with a group of friends so I got to try a few different dishes thankfully. Our starters were octopus carpaccio, ahi tuna tartar, and foie gras(one of the specials). The octopus was cut very thin so there was almost no texture, but it packed a great taste. The ahi tuna was very fresh tasting and wasn’t covered up by(or drowned in) the soy or lime thankfully. This was my first time eating foie gras and I absolutely loved it. The idea of eating fat liver made me curious if it would be chewy or gamey, but it was extremely tender(melted in my mouth) and savory. Our meals were pan-roasted duck(what I ordered), the 18 oz prime rib(cooked rare), the NY strip steak with a side of lobster mashed potatoes, and the 10 oz filet Mignon Bearnaise. Without going into too much detail, all the steak dishes were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the duck was excellent and came in a cranberry demi glaze that was a perfect match, and the lobster mashed potatoes were creamy and had very big chunks of lobster in them. We capped the night off perfectly with the crème brûlée and blueberry cobbler with vanilla gelato. If you made it this far through my review you can probably tell I highly recommend going to Harry’s and there wasn’t a dish I tried that I wouldn’t recommend.

I this place. The food was absolutely on par. Although the place may seem a lot pricier, it’s actually comparable to most non takeout fast-food restaurants. If you are in the mood for fresh seafood and/or steak dinner to perfection, this is the place to go.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary last night at Harry’s. Top notch service, excellent food, and we will definetly be back. It took us over 30 years to return from our first visit. Not this time!

Haven’t eaten here. Just had drinks. It’s classy and very nice. The bartenders are professional. I’ve never had a mediocre drink. They have a good selection of whiskeys but I wish they had even more. Would be nice if they were THE place in northern Delaware for whiskey.

What could I say about this place. Well their food is a great laxative. Yes a lot of Delaware people eat there. The DuPont inbreed types.

Fantastic! Went here for lunch on a Wednesday. The place is pretty big. The main dining room is a little dated, but I liked it. The bar is big and spacious. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, which was very cute and comfortable. Our server(Adam) was excellent! He made recommendations, all of which were real winners, especially the white chocolate bread pudding. If you go, You must try the open faced Prime Rib sandwich & the lobster roll.(you will not be disappointed). This will definitely be a place we return!

Went here for lunch on 7⁄24 sat in the bar area in a booth… would recommend sitting over here for lunch cause it was a lil more lively then the dining room. Our server Jeremy, was excellent! And the food was great! The split pea crab soup was awesome! Would totally get that again! Every thing else was also good! And I loved the homemade lemonade, it was made perfect! Not too sweet!

Rounding up because Unilocal won’t let me give 4.5 stars. I won’t lie. It’s expensive. Prices have gone up. But totally worth it, in my opinion, for what seems to be the most thoughtfully coordinated menu I’ve ever seen at Harry’s. An excellent dining experience requires excellent food. This place definitely fits the bill. The oysters are top-notch, the ingredients fresh. The brussel sprouts salad is a game changer. The pan seared lobster is decadent. The Belgian chocolate gormandise is perfect paired with a shot of espresso. Service was a bit sluggish at first, but I didn’t mind once I had a few oysters and a glass of Prosecco. People complaining about small portions and limited bread basket should just go to Golden Corral instead.

Visited Harry’s a few weeks ago with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was our second visit there, and after the fantastic service and food we enjoyed on our first visit, we chose Harry’s for our celebration over our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. On this visit, our service and food were both seriously lacking. It was a big disappointment, and I regret not telling management on the way out. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because our first visit was flawless, and I hope Harry’s can resolve the lack of consistency in their service. I will give Harry’s another shot, but will beware of the server we had a few weeks ago!

I had the caesar wedge salad and steak. The steak was just AMAZING. The ambiance was perfect. Definitely a go-to spot for a date night or a nice night out with family. It is a bit pricey, so be ready!

The prime rib alone gives Harry’s five stars. Service is always great, very attentive and courteous. We live about 5 mins away, if I could have dinner here every night we would. Everything we’ve ever ordered have been great. Happy hour is nice. We went on a Monday and it was so pleasant. We ordered the cheese plate, had wine & a couple of beers. It was just relaxing and enjoyable. Wish we could do it more often but my work schedule inhibits it :( I also had my wedding shower in one of the ballrooms, it was great. Staff was vey nice and attentive. As always food was great! I would definitely recommend throwing a get together or party here!

Harry’s award winning prime rib au jus is award-winning for a reason! Perfectly cooked, fork tender, and melt in your mouth delicious! The au gratin potatoes are delicious and very flavor full without being overwhelming. A pleasant surprise are the 7 grain and cranberry breads. Go and enjoy a true dining experience!

Greek yogurt was delicious but the commercial granola was not. The fruit was the typical melon, pineapple, strawberry sliced up. Nothing to compliment the delicious organic greek yogurt… Burger with mushrooms and onions was bland. Not much onion. Not much mushrooms. Applewood smoked bacon was amazing. I think Costco sells it, and it is VERYGOOD and perfectly cooked. French toast with banana lime purée was odd. Didn’t care for it at all.

Went in for lunch with mom. Classic steakhouse look and menu. Mom is a prime rib fan so she ordered the sandwich. It came plated with a small salad. She enjoyed it although not served rare as she asked. I ordered the crab cake sandwich. Not a lot of flavor. For the prices, I prefer other steakhouses.

I have been to Harry Savoy’s a few times now, and sat at the bar most of the time. I relly enjoy Harry’s especially during their Happy Hour! On Thursdays they have half priced oysters, and their selection is fresh and diverse. They seem to have an oyster for every palate. Their drinks are also pretty good, I appreciate how they serve certain beers in chilled mugs. This is a great place to hang out, and meet up with friends or co-workers after hours.

This place seems like a landmark, and the food is kind of representative of that. It’s good and rather old fashioned. I had the prime rib with french fries and a glass of red wine. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very friendly. The décor of the dining room is very dark but pleasant enough. The prime rib was done perfectly and had the required jus to go with it. The fries were tasty and well made. The wine was passable. The prices here are reasonable. That’s about all I got! Memorable, but not standout.

A client brought us here when I was visiting Delaware and I was really surprised. it’s a very nice space, similar to any nice restaurant in NYC, and the food was great. The menu is printed daily depending on what is fresh in the market. They are known for their prime rib but I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive as well. If I’m ever in the area, I would definitely go again. Pretty pricey but worth it. Great for a special occasion, business, or a date. Also, the single malt scotches here are so cheap!

I had to lower my rating because I gave them a 2nd chance for my mom’s birthday in March. Our meal was nothing like when we went the first time, for my birthday in January. The staff seemed distracted doting on the regulars and my food was so bad I didn’t even eat more than two bites; it just tasted like salt. I couldn’t even bring it up to the staff because, as I said, they didn’t seem to really be interested and for $ 120 that’s not acceptable. I contacted the manager Judy, whom I took care of me for my birthday and she apologized and sent me a $ 50 gift card. P. S. I gave Harry’s Hospitality Group one last chance at their Seafood Grill(which I’m left a rating.) But for the amount of money one pays at these places, it shouldn’t be «hit or miss.»
