I’ve been going to this salon off and on for almost a year. It’s owned by a man, who is also the master stylist. The salon is clean and professionally operated. Prices are average. Each stylist is unique in what they bring to the salon. Jerome, the owner, works miracles on short hair. He’s an expert in color. More important, he’s very personable. If I didn’t need to get my hair done, I’d probably just stop by to talk. The other stylist work mostly with weaves, braids, and natural hair. I love this place because: 1. You can get a variety of services. What CAN’T they do? 2. The salon is opened early(6am) on Saturdays. 3. Friendly and professional staff 4. They are on time. No waiting for an hour when you have an appointment. 5. Coffee available. 6. Debit/Credit accepted with professional checkout. 7. Discounts on certain services on Tuesday and Wednesday. I don’t love that: (I don’t have anything to put here.) It doesn’t bother me, but: 1. If you’re more than fifteen minutes late for your appointment, you can get bumped. 2. Arrive early, so you can find«side of the street» parking. 3. Hair school students are allowed to work in the salon part-time. But hey, they need to gain experience too.
