I broke down in Wilmington late at night and had AAA tow my car to Jack’s. I was basically stranded at a hotel, and they were very patient with me throughout. They ran a diagnostic and when the problem fixed itself by the next afternoon(I had let the car get too low on gas), the owner test drove my car 2 – 3 times just to make sure it was okay to drive. After I drove off, they called me to make sure I got back to Washington DC safely. So nice!

This is towing and a small service shop. I’ve only been here a few times. The first time, my car broke down in the middle of the street, Jack Smiths was able to tow my car to their shop, and diagnose the problem immediately. This goes for the other times that I’ve went to them. They are thorough, reasonably priced(because no where is inexpensive anymore.) and they show you the problem– This is something every place should do, in my opinion. Especially, if you don’t know jack squat about cars. I’ve only really ever came here for emergencies and they were able to get to work right away, which is pretty awesome! So I’m not sure how it works with appointments, but I do know they try to fit you in the day. They also accept AAA. I recommend this place if you are in some kind of immediate emergency, but with the experience I’ve had, I’d say they could fix just about anything!

This place is the best. Honest, dependable, and nice people. On top of that they give generously to the community and the Smith family puts on a great Christmas display. If only all businesses could berths great.
