So I’ve been wanting to try out this place for quite awhile now! I’m a coffee fanatic and living in this area there isn’t much to choose from without driving almost a half hour. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in here this morning. Very cute little place. I ordered a white chocolate raspberry iced coffee.(which was delicious!) My boyfriend ended up being short on cash at the moment, thought we had more money in the car but we didn’t. I told the woman before she made the drink I apologize we don’t have enough on us. She gave us the drink for free and told us to pay her in a few days when my boyfriend gets paid! She was very polite & kind! I’m a Starbucks and Dunkin fan but this place beats both! I would highly recommend trying it out and will definitely be getting my coffee here for now on!

Like an oasis in a coffee barren desert… this small yet delightful shop is there to rescue you! Being the type of person that enjoys delicious high grade coffee beverages I was beyond ecstatic when I found out they were brewing Intelligentsia brand coffee beans! My absolute favorite! Along with an over the top coffee drink the owner and its local patrons were very welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure your experience was an enjoyable one!!! Can’t wait to be back! A guaranteed stop whenever I’m in the area!

Jaszy’s Java is picturesque when it comes to what you should expect from a small town coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and each brew and drink is crafted with love and care. Creativity rules at JJ’s, from mixing up new tasty drinks of the customer’s design, to being able to draw on the chalkboard tables. Everyone is friendly, from the owners to the people stopping in. At JJ’s you can sit down and just chat with new people about random whatever like your sitting down with an old friend. I recommend: everything, just sit down and drink one of each until you’re so hyped up on caffeine you could challenge The Flash to speed race. If that’s too much for you, the chocolate covered strawberry latte is divine and the peach smooth(made with 100% real fruit) is heaven in a cup!

Best coffee place around. Everyone is always nice and very friendly. They will make anything you can think of. If Starbucks doesn’t carry it anymore they always will! They are very community involved. Love the free coffee on your birthdays!

The only place in this small town to get a good coffee. Wilmington is a pretty small, not so fancy town. We lived here for about 2 months for work. I stopped in to get a couple coffees one day and spent less than $ 10 and the coffee shop doesn’t take cards, cash only(and I had no cash) which is a pain but the woman was nice enough to trust me to just pay her next time I came in. I liked that, you don’t come across many people like that anymore. I came back to pay her days later and got another coffee. She knew that we had recently moved to town and let us know a lot about summer activities and things to do around the area. Great local business. I just wish she took cards!

When you HAVE to leave home before dawn and you’re driving down the road — Jaszy’s Java is like a warm beacon(literally — the lights welcome you in the early darkness of morning). Yes — they do promote social interaction. Isn’t that wonderful?! I’ve made several friends since I first started coming here — people who live in my own town that I otherwise probably never would have met. Their coffee is hands down the best of all the shops within a 30 mile area(that’s all I can attest to). In fact, it is so good that they DON’T need to rely on gaming machines to bring people in. They have the old fashioned games if you’re really feeling froggy — or when your grandson wants to go with you to play games, draw on the tables or draw on the sidewalk. It’s a wonderful place to meet friends, make friends and have a great cup of coffee while doing it.

Coffee is good, service is slow. Tiny shop but friendly folks. Big parking lot. Could be open longer. The coffee is good though.

Do not stop here if you’re in a hurry. The owner wants her establishment to be the local meet and greet and will try to talk you into sitting down. If you refuse, she becomes disappointed and makes you wait. My husband and I stopped in while running errands and it took 20 minutes to get 2 coffees while she insisted we be introduced to every single person in there, hear the itinerary of the upcoming social events of the town and the ingredients that went into the cookies being served that day. If you are bored and are looking for a place to hang out and drink some pretty decent coffee, this is the place. If you want to get your drink and run, steer clear.

I started a new job and needed a new coffee spot on my route and I am so so happy I stumbled into this little shop. Yes it’s tiny and busy so I’m not in there too long but those things don’t really matter because they serve Intelligentsia!!! Which is hands down one of the best coffee roaster and they’re local, roasting in Chicago. And the prices for the coffee are fair unlike a popular Seattle brand. So skip the gas station coffee and big box chains and come here for a good cup of joe.

Absolutely love this little shop. Their coffee variations are delicious and they are always willing to offer recommendations for the not so experienced orderer. They don’t accept credit cards and I think that keeps people from stopping there but the last time we went, the very sweet lady told us we could pay her the next time we came in! Luckily we scraped together the $ 9 to pay for our drinks. But, how sweet is that? Great small town cozy feel. Love this place. I just wish they were open more often. The hours are bananas!
