Just Perfect!

We didn’t use their staging services but we did just go to their new Pop-​Up shop that they’re hoping to continue on a monthly basis. We went in expecting that everything was going to be way out of our budget because it’s all so nice but the prices were fantastic. They helped us with some design ideas of what would look best with our current chair and we picked out a great sofa for under $ 600. The ladies there are so nice and not at all pushy about buying. It was one of the most enjoyable furniture buying experiences I’ve had.

I am a local business owner and used Just Perfect for interior design services following a recommendation from a friend in th real estate industry. Per our agreement, the company and its staff charged me a retainer for design services and I was told they would place any and all orders for furniture and accent pieces, and generally get 10 to 20% off retail. In the 1^st month we paid ²⁄₃ of the full retainer. In the 2^nd month we finished making furniture selections and received an invoice for the furniture for the full amount of our selections. We were not provided an itemized bill and vendors were also not provided, after multiple requests. Upon review of the pieces we were planning to order online, I.E.
we noted that Just Perfect attempted to charge us in excess of 200% of retail costs.
Following our diligence we confronted Just Perfect and they unapologetically told us that they «do not have economies of scale» and «if we can get better prices we should place the order ourselves.» After this breach of trust and our agreement all consulting work came to a halt. We placed the order ourselves and discontinued working with the company. After a few months went by Just Perfect charged us for final payment, even though they only performed 1 phase of 3 phases of work.
After multiple requests for a refund the company did not refund our money. We had no choice but to file a civil action against the company.
Based on our experience I would strongly suggest not to work with Just Perfect.
