Greasy food. Good sports bar. Waitress had it all hanging out.
But the amount of tv s in there was impressive. Great place to catch a game !!
The restaurant is very nice. I would totally go back to catch a game. Next time I would order something else than the sampler appetizer. Lol.

We used to go here every week for about a year. But then things started going wrong, terribly wrong. We gave it 4 more chances and every time we swore we wouldn’t go back. Orders would be completely wrong, the wings got smaller and smaller and the managers did nothing. It wasn’t even worth it. There are other wing places who are at least consistent.
If you like baby chicken wings, this is a good spot. If you don’t like them, you might get lucky and get normal sized chicken wings, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Wife and I ate lunch here today for the first time. We were greeted and sat down in a booth right away. The initial observation of the dining environment was great. Our waitress immediately took our drink orders.
We decided to have the buffalo shrimp as an app. They tasted great and were cooked perfectly. We ordered 20 grilled wings, an all American burger with slaw as a side, and the shrimp BLT with fries. Yes we were hungry!
The wings were ordered just to sample and take the rest home. The wings were delicious. Both of our meals were very tasty. I ordered cheese and bacon with my burger. The additions accented the flavor of the burger well.
Overall the waitress did a great job. She was not pushy or absent. Such a good dining experience we decided we would return.

Love this place for lunch with my family, I always order the fish n chips! The waitresses are awesome too!

First time at Kickback Jacks. Had the seafood platter. I loved it. Piled high on the plate with a good portion of delicious fried flounder. And large fried shrimp. The service was great. Of course it might be different if there was a big game on. I will go back.

Gotta love Battleground group and their conversion to Kickbacks — great food –generous portion at a decent price!

If your looking for a place to watch football games this is the place. Tons of tv’s so you never have to miss a moment of the game! A very spacious restaurant with a covered out door area. The staff was nice and had the food out in no time. I recommend if your in the mood for a salad to try the Santa Fe chicken salad.

So this place has always been ehh for me. I would try different things and not really like it but once I found something that I love then I stick to it. The food that I got here wasn’t always the same. I would something that sound good a few times and it would taste different every time. Some of the things that I love are amazing cheesy bread that actually went up in price, chicken quesadilla, buffalo chicken wrap, and the shrimp po boy is pretty good. Everything else that I tried were just alright. Heard their wings are really good but haven’t got the chance to try it out. Went here after months of not going and remembered a new management has taken over. Vibe and atmosphere was still the same. Ordered our drinks and first thing I noticed their cups weren’t as big which I didn’t mind. Got some drinks and they were pretty good. Food came out really fast and it was a lot better than my pass experience. Ordered cheesy bread extra crispy came out really good, chicken quesadilla so Much better than before, Mac and cheese wedges which were actually surprisingly good, and side order of fries which were pretty good I normally don’t like their fries. It was just a buffet of not so good food for you but it really good. I would defiantly be more willing to come in after this experience.

Bar service was great. Food quality was abysmal. Shrimp BLT may have had one piece of bacon on it. That is not an exaggeration. Before I even looked under the bread my hopes were not high, as the presentation implied a gorilla was just throwing poop around in the kitchen and just happened upon some BLT ingredients. Have a beer but DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Meal started off great when we were seated by Madison. She was so sweet and helpful. I had Italian sub and kids had a burger and wings. Food and atmosphere were great. Will definitely be back!

Our server was awesome!!! Pizza, grilled wings, Italian sub and Cesar salads were all five star delicious. Would defiantly come back!!! My group said they would all order these things again!

While I do not eat here often the food is good. Ability to cook a burger as ordered is where they lack. No matter what doneness I ask for I always get well done. Why bother asking the customer how they want it cooked if you cannot deliver. Now I do not know if it is the cook who doesn’t know what he is doing or if the wait staff let’s it sit waiting until the burger finishes cooking before serving but I am tired of ordering a medium burger and getting a well done burger. Maybe I need to order rare to get medium?

First time eating here. I got the chicken platter thinking no one can mess up a chicken platter. Their breading was very gross. It was sour tot he taste as well as their fries so I’m assuming the grease they’re using is old or just bad. A good surprise however was apparently Thursday’s kids eat for .99 cents. Their kids Mac-​n-​cheese wasn’t too bad. We sent everything back besides that. Won’t go back.

Worst hamburger I have ever tried to eat. Tough, coarse, flavorless. Wilted lettuce, soggy tomato. Fried pickle appetizer was rubbery. Food quality has taken a nosedive since this place opened. Won’t be back.

will first say Hamburgers are good, in fact very good plus cooked the way you order.
So the Wife and I stopped by for lunch today.
Thought I would order something different, the Tailgater Appetizer. Bad mistake, it was delivered heavily, cruddy, breaded, obviously had been frozen to tastelessness and dried. The serving was provided with plenty of sauce plus dressing to, I guess, hide the lack of flavor and hopefully add some taste. After eating the shrimp, trying the chicken nuggets I pushed the plate aside, grabbed the wife and left. Never had a problem with other items on the menu, in fact good for bar food, just don’t order the Tailgater.

Food is ok, typical bar food but without high expectations you will be satisfied. Beer was cold but kinda hard to mess that up. Bar service on a Friday lunch was prompt but not overly friendly by any means. The reason they get 2 stars is bc (admittedly a pet peeve) is walking in somewhere and not being greeted. Walked in and there were 4 girls gathered at the hostess area not one acknowledged me even as I just walked past them. Would meet some buddies for beer and to watch the game but there are a lot of sports bar options in the immediate area.

Staff was kind and efficient. The food has gotten a lot better since the last time I was here and wasn’t to pricey

Food was a definite 5! We had the bacon cheeseburger pizza, barbecue chicken pizza, western burger, two kids meals, and a dessert all for under $ 50! Everything was scrumptious! My one little issue was the bacon cheeseburger pizza was a wee bit on the mustardy side so if you aren’t a fan of mustard you may want to order it without mustard. This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last!

This place is awesome! Great food, and awesome staff! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Trivia on Monday and Wednesday nights with some cool prizes!

Needed a late night place to hang out and drink. And well, this place was the only place in Wilmington that seemed open that I could find. So, Kick Back Jacks was chosen to drink.
Along with drinking I did manage to order a nice Mushroom Swiss burger. Not bad, I didn’t really care for the deep fried onions on there though. It sort of put me off that burger… But drinks. that was a different story.
We mostly got different custom shots that I sort of don’t remember exactly what we drank. But it was definitely a fun night, even though someone got a little injured throughout the whole ordeal.
Overall, since this is the only place quite literally that’s open til 2 AM in Wilmington… I might have no other choice but to come back here.
And, by the way… Karaōke night? …sometimes there are some bad singers. So drink up and hopefully you won’t hear them.
