Brunch at Kid Sheeleens is a crowded affair. So is it worth the hype? Stay for the good brunch drinks, the sticky buns, good service and eggs. The food quality overall is just average. The hash browns are good, the pancakes are a little thick and the French toast just so so. The one thing that holds the restaurant back is the speed of service on a busy Sunday. Everything came out a little slow and a little cold.

Great atmosphere. Good selection of bottled and draft beers, if you’re into that. Bar was lively, although small. Burger and fried pickles/sport peppers were tasty, great service by Franco. Will definitely be back.

Visited here for dinner. It took 15 minutes for our server to arrive and take our drink orders. Not a good start. Ordered draft beer which was very good and ice cold. Also ordered wine from a nice selection of wine by the glass and the wine was very good as well. We ordered small nachos which were brought out quickly. They were very good(in fact the best part of the meal) and plenty for a party of four to share. For dinner my burger was incredibly dry. I could only choke down half of it. I brought the rest home for my dog. We’ll see what she thinks of it this morning.. . Fellow diners ordered the chicken sandwich which was not very good(we’ll see what the dog thinks of that as well), and two other diners ordered salads which were good. Finally, our server was very friendly and perfect for our visit. We were never rushed and she checked back with us often enough. In summary, good drinks and good nachos were the highlight of the evening. The poor quality of the entrees brings this place down to the dreaded 2 star rating.

While visiting family in Wilmington they suggested having brunch here and another spot which I will not name ;-). We stopped at the first spot and the menu was blah. Arrived here and while there was a 30 – 45 min wait for a table for 4 we decided to stay. The place was live for a Sunday. Luckily four bar seats became available shortly after our arrival so we opted for the bar and handed in our pager. The bartender was friendly(I wish I caught his name) but he took our drink orders of Sangria and Mimosas as we decided on entrees and even gave us a sample of the Bloody Mary as we never had one but were curious. The food was amazing. I had the special — Blue Cheese and bacon omelet a long side home fries and wheat bread… soooo yummy and was so stuffed I couldn’t finish. My fam also ordered the home skillet with a Chipotle sauce and grits which was amazing and the Crab cakes and eggs… another yum. Really enjoyed this spot… not to mention they played lots of Reggae once we arrived without a request lol… such a coincidence. If your looking to watch the game on a Sunday along with brunch this is definitely the spot. I’ll be back on my next visit to DE.

First time here, at a friend’s suggestion. It was delicious! I had the Kid Burger and it was half-priced burger day. This thing was huge, juicy and perfectly cooked. This will be my go to burger place in Wilmington.

Half price burger Tuesday is the best! Great burgers, some of my fav burgers, I always crave them and they never disappoint. Service is good. Great for a last minute for quick dinner during the week.

Ordered from the bar around the lunch hour. Quick and prompt friendly service, nice atmosphere. Ordered a cheese burger and fries and it came out very quickly and was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I would definitely stop back in when I’m in the area.

Did not eat here, only got drinks. Service was a tad slow. I ordered a cocktail, the boys a draft each. My drink was something fruity and tasted good. Ogling the other patrons dishes, it seemed they are a good place to grab a bite, listen to live music, and enjoy a very trendy atmosphere.

Great Atmosphere. We had Brunch, with $ 5 Bloody Mary Bar. We loved the sticky buns !!! Service was very good. Friendly Staff, clean Facility, decent food. Not the best huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. Could have used some fresh cilantro, onion and black beans. The rest of the food was good. Brunch prices on average were about $ 13 per plate.

Been over a dozen times. the burgers are slightly overrated. Ive had them there and taken out, and experienced varied results. They are slightly over priced and always over cooked. The tacos, while good, are overdone and expensive. $ 13,$ 14 for three tacos

Ladies and gentlemen, Kid Shelleen! (That’s what my DC said when I sat down underneath what was track lighting but felt like a spotlight, haha.) Aaaaanyway… We went here for brunch and were very satisfied. Firstly, the cinnamon rolls were a great beginning to the meal. I’ve never been to a place that has these as a free little appetizer and now I find myself craving them. I had scrambled eggs with home fries, and a side of tomato, since I don’t eat breakfast meat. No real complaints. I really liked the taste and texture of the home fries — I was a little worried when I saw them on another person’s plate and they looked very crispy. However, what I got were a mixture of crispy/tender pieces that were seasoned very well. He had the eggs florentine that came with jalapeño cornbread. The cornbread really wasn’t that spicy, which was great, because it had a unique flavor without being overpowering to the rest of the dish. Service was good too — and free coffee refills are always a welcomed addition!
