This is a wonderful coffee shop and café in Downtown Wilmington. The espresso-drinks are always delicious — my personal favorite is the classic cappuccino. They use a high-quality espresso machine which makes a difference. Their breakfast sandwiches are tasty — I wish they included more veggies, but overall are a good option. The lunch includes delicious sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and salads. The portions here are generous and prices reasonable given the quality. The staff here is also always positive and engaged — it is noticed! They seem to know the regulars and really care about creating a sense of community in the neighborhood. It is a pleasant break from the cookie-cutter Starbucks locations for your morning brew or lunch stop. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Second semester at my favorite coffee shop. Addicted to the DayBuzz. And today found out they have guitars on the walls you can use:) Everytime I come in the staff are amazing! Simply the best place to be :)

Me and some friends came here yesterday after our classes and we were very impressed. The food, drinks and staff were amazing. I had the grilled cheese on sourdough bread and a hot chocolate. The grilled cheese was VERY good and the hot chocolate was probably the best I’ve ever had. The employees were very kind and helpful. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Not a good choice for food but a GREAT choice for your morning coffee/latte/Muddy Waters(Coffee with Espresso shot added). Super friendly staff and clean comfy digs with FREE wifi! Breakfast sandwiches are $ 5 and up. Ouch. a Medium Latte and egg-cheese-bacon on a bagel was $ 9. Can’t afford to come here daily but maybe once every 10 days or so? Super friendly barrista and cashier in the AM. Line can move SLOWly.

In a era of Starbucks on every corner, Loma Coffee stands out as a bright spot. It is a surprisingly roomy and lively little coffee shop, manned by very friendly staff. It is in a corner location with a lot of available table space. I’ve spent many an afternoon working there. The coffee selection is good overall, but be careful ordering customized drinks. While the brewed coffee is excellent, more labor-intensive drinks are often prepared inconsistently. My go-to drink of choice is a soy milk vanilla latte. Some times, it is overly sugary, while other times, you don’t taste vanilla at all. It seems that the preparation varies depending on the baristas. That being said, I would much rather have an occasional inconsistent drink rather than dealing with the boring corporate consistency of Starbucks. If you’re in the area, stop by and support local coffee!

My favorite coffee shop in Wilmington. Lattes are delicious — the baristas are very good and the use illy coffee beans. Their small kitchen makes a good egg & cheese sandwich, and lots of space to spread out.

Bagel and cream cheese with cucumber arrived stale and with tomato. Caffe latte was also paid for yet, never arrived. Wasn’t until I decided to leave, did kid cudi hand me my cold coffee that had been sitting there behind the counter. It came with a complimentary«oops». Don’t direct your patrons to sit down if you’re not going to serve them. We cant sit AND check on our orders.

Food was wonderful — real bagels!!! The only problem — virtually all except multi-grain and pumpernickel were gone. Loved the coffee. Service was good, but stoic

*based on takeout* Usually not much of of a coffee drinker but for some reason I’m extremely tired today and had a few errands to run. Thankfully Loma is right across from the hair salon I go to. I stopped in for a vanilla café au lait and my experience(all 3 mins of it) was awesome. I was greeted by a young lady at the register with a smile & she graciously fulfilled my request for quarters(sounds simple, but most merchants won’t in town). I didn’t have to wait at all barista already started my drink when I was paying so it was ready to go. I must say they balanced it out perfectly, just enough coffee to give me that extra jolt but not enough where I can’t stomach the taste, also they put the perfect amount of vanilla in there do it was just a hint and not over powering. Once again, km not a big coffee drinker but I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area to try other flavors and some of those great looking pastries.

This was our first stop off the plane after being overseas for 6 weeks. We got some pretty straightforward café fare — sandwiches and such — which we all really liked. One of the barista/service guys was chatting up my 11-year-old and was really nice to him. Then when I got a refill he chatted me up as well, and I told him we were fresh off the plane. So when my family asked for a piece of lemon pie, I went up to pay for it, and he said, «no way man, it’s on the house, welcome back home.» Amazing.

Cannot say enough good things about this adorable establishment. Genuinely friendly, pleasant people at the counter. A very good cappuccino made in a timely manner. The bagels are crusty but chewy and nicely toasted. Cream cheese spread is adequate but not gooey. I get that topped with sliced tomato – dope. I wish they made a simple syrup for the iced coffee, but I’m over it. It’s never too busy or crowded to get a table and I like the vice of the neighborhood. The chairs are also beautiful-zebra wood? Downer: not open Sunday when I most want my bagel fix but it’s posted as such, so no surprises. And they close so they allow staff to be in church. Not all bad, right? Get coffee here – these folks will make you feel pretty good about that purchase.

Recently stopped here on a trip down to Maryland. Great coffee, great atmosphere, friendly baristas, but SLOW service. Took well over 15 minutes from ordering an Americano to receiving it with only 1 person in front of me. Seems like they do a lot of live music and events at night so it’s definitely a place to check out if in the area. Metered street parking in front.

Best coffee shop ever, it’s changed my life. I’ve had everything on the menu and I’ve never gotten tired of the food. Awesome food, amazing coffee crafted with love(and roasted locally from Elixr in Philly!) and the best staff in the world. Keith is my personal favorite! ;)

Downtown Wilmington has upped it’s game since I lived here years ago. I like seeing cute coffee shops with character, decent coffee and hot fresh prepared food :) I waited a little longer than I would have liked for my breakfast sandwich here this past Saturday but the fact that the are frying up those eggs as ordered is a plus in my book. Service was nice had a hipster-esque feel(apparently everyone wants to be a hipster these days) If in the area I would come back and would recommend this as a solid breakfast option. I would imagine this place gets busy during the week.

One of my favorite places on market street. The coffee is amazing and the people who work there have stolen my heart. I love them all. They take the time to get to know their regulars and always make your drinks perfectly. Michael, Joey, Keith, and Taylor are all super talented behind the espresso bar. All the ladies who work at Loma are such sweethearts and once you start going to Loma, you basically become part of the Loma family. It’s at its busiest around lunch time but after 1pm it slows down and you can really get some work done, read a good book, or just hang out with a good drink and relax. Also, they have the best chai charger and oatmeal bars you can find in Wilmington!

Hunting around the downtown area and looking for historical marker signs, I stumbled across Loma and decided that some caffeine might jolt my sense of direction. Nice vibe in this place, right from entering as the dude(yes, he seemed very«dude») behind the counter was strumming away on a guitar. He pulled me an excellent single espresso which I enjoyed thoroughly and then was on my way. Bummer I wasn’t able to stay longer. This seems like a nice little joint and is certainly better than those *$ peeps!

Friendly and relatively quick. This is the main coffee shop in Wilmington besides «Brew haha» but«Brew haha» has a min of like $ 5. I got the iced caramel latte(3) and a bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich(6 – 7). Delicious! I have also gotten the iced coffee(2 bucks). The quality is really good. Super close to the amtrak station too. Update: Food is cheaper than the other food choices in wilmington. 7 – 8 for a whole sandwich and 4 – 5 for half a sandwich. Decent quality!
