Great Persian and Italian cuisine. Family owned and operated restaurant which I love coming to on Friday nights because of the great service by ladi and good food by the chef. I also enjoyed the bellydancing which is only on Friday nights.

Food was 40 minutes late — Zero customer service skills — rude manager — brought cold food and said it was my fault for ordering it to be delivered and that if I wanted hot food I had to go there. Details… I placed an order on a Thursday at 6:30. The lady that helped me said she would call me back with the total and that the food would be here in 45 min… I called back at 7:30 to tell her I didn’t get the food or the total… She told me it was on its way. The food arrived at 7:50… Out of three dishes only the beef koobideh was hot… The chicken soltani was cold and the tahdeeg was not edible. I called and spoke to the same lady again and she told me she was going to talk to the manager to see if they can credit me… The manager answers the phone and says the food can’t be cold because I just took it off the fire and it was hot… I explain the chicken is cold and the tahdeeg is ice cold and he tells me I have to go to the restaurant for good tahdeeg… This is not my first time ordering Persian food as delivery… Other restaurants have managed to bring me crispy hot tahdeeg with no problems… I didn’t ask for a credit when I called and a simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead he had an answer for everything and did not care the slightest bit that the food was nearly 40 minutes late. I called back and asked to speak to the owner and as I waited… I could here one guy tell the other guy«Na baba sard nabood» which in farsi(persian) means«no man it wasn’t cold» and then they hung up. A simple sorry would have been sufficient but first telling me they are late because they are busy and then telling me I shouldn’t get tahdeeg to go and finally hanging up on me after I hear them talking about me… Makes them well deserving of the 1 star.

Excellent, Excellent service, just wonderful. The Persian food is great. My siblings had chicken and beef skewers. I had the lamb shank. We went on a Saturday night and enjoyed the belly dancer. They also have pizza and hamburgers for the kids.

Love this place! To start, both Ladi and Alejandra go out of their way to make sure guests are well served. They are so patient, especially when they are really busy. Love them! The food, Persian, Italian or American is all well served, seasoned perfectly and delicious. My favorite is the barg, hands down. Now for dessert, the rosewater pistachio ice cream is just unreal.

My family of(5) wanted to eat spaghetti, we were in the neighborhood and decided to try it. I’m glad we stopped in. The waitress was awesome, the spaghetti and chicken Alfredo was excellent! It was so good my kids were asking if we can go back the next day, we did lol and received the same awesome service we had the night before. Food was very delicious. I think my family and I can add this restaurant to one of our many spots to eat. We’ll definitely be back with more family/friends to try it out.

If you’re looking for good quality Persian/Italian food I recommend this place, don’t be fooled by the location. I came here for lunch with my coworkers and loved the food, so I decided to share it with my family. I made reservations to celebrate a big party and they were very accommodating and helpful with the process. Our party had a lot of kids and they considered that in the pricing which was great! The price they gave us for the amount of people we had was a great deal considering how much food they served. The interior is nice and clean and beautiful, perfect for parties. The service was icing on the cake, the servers were very helpful and friendly.

I’ve eaten here about half a dozen times. Every time the food is exceptional and the service is great. I typically get the beef koobideh and the chicken kabob. Their portions are generous and the quality of the meat and chicken are great. I’ve also tried the beef soltani as well as the koobideh wrap. The soltani was great. The wrap had a little too much bread and salad shirazi. By the time I got home to eat it, it was soggy. But, yummy nonetheless. This place is a must try. Hopefully, soon I’ll stop in on a Friday night to watch the belly dancing. I ordered tardig they delivered it with the stew on it. Needless to say, I had soggy tardig. They need to put the stew in a separate container when it’s to go or delivery. The salad shirazi has too much onion and tomato and not enough cucumber.

I liked this place i loved the kabob the different rice and lamb however the last time i ordered for pickup chicken kobidah it was horrible. It smelled like it was old. I took back 2 orders to them and told them to taste it and tell me if its good. The owner give me the run a round. I told him i don’t want a refund i don’t want an exchange all i want him is to taste the unopened dish. I won’t give them a one star but i won’t be eating here anymore. Too bad i loved this kind of food.

2.5 stars for service — 4 stars for the food. The South Bay is very limited in getting Persian Cuisine. There’s Seaside Palace, and Fanoos in Torrance, and this place in Wilmington. It’s not quite Persian, because they also have Italian food. So this Italian — Persian restaurant is located few blocks east from the 110 freeway /PCH exit, in a non descript office looking complex, right before Wienerschnitzel. We drove right past it on Sunday, and had to use the GPS to reroute us. We arrived a little after noon and we thought the place was closed. Literally one car was in the tiny tiny parking lot, and the place was dark(probably from the smoked windows). Not one customer was inside, and I could not find which door was the entrance, as the ENTIRE front is made of glass. We stood outside taking picture for a good 5 minutes… You’d think the one girl/hostess/waitress would have been observant to open the door and gesture us in? We walked in and the music was BLARING. I think we were listening to Persian Rap music. The hostess/waitress greeted us, and placed us at a table that held 2 people. You would think she could have given us a comfortable table for 4. it wasn’t like the place was crowded. She handed us our menu and walked away. The inside was beautiful, contrary to the drab outside. The menu was eclectic, as part of the menu was Italian food(ie: pizza, pasta), while the alternate pages were Persian food. I noticed on prior Unilocal reviews that they had a «Lunch Special» valid every day until 4:00. She didn’t offer it to us, I couldn’t ask her for one(because she disappeared into the kitchen). I saw the flyer at the front desk when we walked in and sent Stephen to the front and he grabbed us 2 «Lunch Special» menus. The Lunch Special menu is just a smaller portion of their food, and it also came with a drink. I was going to order the Beef Koubideh, which is $ 12.99 for the entrée(which comes with 2 skewers) but chose the Lunch Special(which comes with 1) for $ 9.99. Stephen had the Lunch Special of the Gheymeh, which is a Persian beef stew for $ 10.99 and we added the Kashkeh Bademjoon, an Eggplant dip, as our appetizer. The hostess/waitress disappeared in the back, and even though the Persian Rap music was blaring in the dining area, you could hear her cackling with the staff in the back, screeching like a teenager, laughing like it was a high school event. The hostess/waitress came out with our drinks and then a basket of lavash bread, 3 pats of butter and a ¼ of a red onion. Later, salt, pepper and sumac. Our food took a while, but at least it was made to order. The appetizer came out in about 20 minutes, but it was only 5 minutes before our entrees. I wished they spaced out the cooking time so we could have enjoyed the appetizer for what it was supposed to be, as a starter, not as part of our meal. My beef koubideh was juicy and tender, and the tomatoes were delicious. The rice was nice and fluffy and generous portion. Stephen enjoyed his stew as well. For«Lunch-size» portions, they were perfect. Overall the food was great, and I won’t ding them for that. The service? God awful. and we were the ONLY ones in the place. If I had to rate this place for the lousy service, it would easily be a 2 ½ star review.

I’ve been ordering delivery from here for the last couple of years since I moved into the south bay because this was one of the few places that delivers Persian food. I’m a huge fan of Koobideh kabobs and that is what I generally will get while occasionally ordering from their Italian menu. Last week I decided I would order a pizza from here was was disappointed by what I received but decided to let that go. Tonight however, I ordered the Fesenjan and am extremely disappointed to the point that I decided to write a review. The price point for this dish seemed on point until i received my order. The container is a great size for the $ 13.49 asking price, and it comes with a whole separate container of a large portion of rice which is great. However upon opening the container I come to find only 3 golf ball size pieces of chicken inside. This is a dish that my family makes on a regular basis and I am very fond of and I find the lack of meat in this stew disturbing. I would hope that if I were to come into the restaurant and order this dish I would get more chicken with the meal and hope that this does not happen again if I were to order this for delivery again but I am now considering looking to take my business elsewhere.

I accidentally read the restaurant’s description wrong and thought it was Peruvian food. I’m so glad that I came here though because the food was really delicious! I ordered their chicken & rice plate with peppers/tomatoes(#16, I think). Although it took a while to get our food, the chicken was worth the wait! I’ve never had basmati rice before so that was interesting. Additionally, they had $ 1.50 shock top! Can’t really beat that price. Side note: they give you a side of onion and butter — DONOT eat them together like my coworker did. some people like to eat the onions with their bread and the butter is for you to put on the rice(if you desire more flavors on your rice). However, the server said the rice is already flavored with butter so don’t add any more if you’re a healthy eater. Overall, I had a great experience!

I order lunch from here quite often. I love the chicken and rice plate… LOTS of fresh grilled chicken and the rice is soooo good. Today I got a chinese chicken salad. WOW. I’ll figure out how to post a pic of it. They deliver promptly. I’ve been ordering from them for a long time and have only had 1 issue and boy was it an issue. But once I flipped out over the phone they truly tried to make it right. Granted, I didn’t order from there for a long time but then when I did things were even better. I’ve ordered for parties here at my business and everything I ordered was accounted for and made nicely. They don’t spill my iced tea along the way and they always remember to give me extra ice, the napkins forks, etc. yes, they SHOULD do it that way but if you get food delivered often, you’ll see that quite often that stuff is MIA. Especially if you are at a hotel with none of that available. I like them a lot.

Worth coming down to Wilmington for great Persian Food!!! Close to the 110 Freeway entrance and exit. once you enter you will like the décor ambience and wonder whether this place should be in irvine or hollywood! service is attentive. The manager is really pretty looking and kind!!! i ordered the #11 beef koobideh and it came quickly to the table! the meat was juicy and cut like butter!!! the rice is slightly buttered and paired well with the beef. if you enjoy Persian Ice Cream but do not want to drive all the way to Mashti malone’s in hollywood then the rosewater pistaccio ice cream is a flavouful masterpiece to enjoy for its sweetness and subtle floral taste. i will be coming hete to enjoy staring at the waitresses and manager!

Decided to give this business a chance and not judge it worst decision ever! First of all the music is super loud and its club music very annoying, second they have t. vs inside which are boring and obviously can’t hear anything. the waiter was ok i didn’t like that she had a cold and was still there taking orders and bringing them out of the kitchen in my opinion she shouldn’t have been anywhere near the food specially because she was sneezing very often. I ordered the lasagna with meatballs which is $ 1.00extra and it comes with the choice of salad or chowder soup i chose the salad the only choice was garden salad its was not good at all the lettuce nor the broccoli was fresh. The meatballs were nasty no flavor at all and also the lasagna had so much going on it was gross the meat in the lasagna was undercooked the only thing that was good was the garlic bread that came accompanied to the lasagna oh and the soda my bf had the calzone to make it pepperoni was $ 1.00 extra most of it was just tomato sauce so not that good as well, overall the atmosphere is not lively even though i came in on a Saturday evening it was just me and my bf inside i guess now i learned why. I do not recommend this place eat and spend your $$ at your own risk.

They have great food and good prices. Their wings are super crispy and some of the best wings around but their sauce taste like barbecue sauce with Tapatio mixed in and I don’t really like it, but if you order the wings with no sauce and add some regular wing sauce or Franks Red Hot sauce, they are amazing!

This is the worse place to eat at!!! Cup was dirty when waitress dropped our drinks off. My margarita had no alcohol. She asked my baby what kind of beer he wanted. The parmesan that was brought to my table was wet and clumpy. Disguisting! Just an FYI I have never wrote a review on Unilocal.I was moved so much by this experience I decided to do so. I would have gave no stars if it allowed.

This is soooo delicious! Their meat was so perfectly done — tender and moist you didn’t even need a knife cuz it just fell apart on its own. Gawd I miss it already. I had the barg and my husband had the shish kabob and they were both so yummy! I mean, I’ve had persian food before but not like this! I’m so glad I gave this place a try too. It was so unexpected! To have Mediterranean on Main/PCH, and one that’s next to a marijuana clinic! Haha! Parking area is not enough so prepare to park on the street or on adjacent parking lots. But we came here at lunch around noon and it was pretty empty. The pictures of dishes look just like pictures from any other Mediterranean restaurants, but the portions are so much bigger! No wonder the price was a little on the high side. I don’t think they have separate lunch and dinner menus… or at least I wasn’t given one. The Persian Tea was good. I was excited it came with sugar cubes, but then it barely melted in the tea which was OK cuz the tea itself was drinkable. The dishes came with some flat looking thin pita, half of a raw onion and butter, and I didn’t know how to eat it. It was good I guess, I’m just not a fan of eating raw red onions. The one thing I didn’t like was the shirazi salad. There was something about their garnish or maybe the onions again that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Either way, I’m not ordering that again. But everything else is totally worth coming back for. So i recommend this place to anyone who thought they ever had Persian food or those especially new to Mediterranean food.

Just okay. Really disappointed the fettucini tasted like it was leftover and reheated. Barely any sauce on it, mostly dried up. The portion was super small, and came with a small soup that was whatever. Not much better than can soup. Garlic bread that came with it was a joke. Really tiny and dry, not a lot of flavor. Probably also reheated. The hot wings tasted more fresh, but tasted like bbq sauce. I don’t like bbq sauce in my hot wings. Service was lacking, and high prices for the value. Won’t be coming back.

Lovely lush furnishings and delicious food, with incongruous hip hop music accompanying a continuous Madonna video. Oh, and a chandelier. Hookah, anyone? The food will bring me back, but the current desserts are out of box and not worthy of the food… but I have not yet tried the Persian ice cream! Next time we’ll try the Persian pastries and the Italian lasagna! Neat, esoteric place, good for groups and parties, with its open, clean, luxurious feel.

I use to always get the grilled chicken salad and it’s better now because the chicken is marinated now instead but it’s still a cheap bag of salad nothing hard to do, fine dining it’s not change the lettuce if people eat inside because u want to charge more it should be better quality lettuce. Pastas are good. Dressing are freakin delicious but over charging because u created a hooka lounge look no bueno, my problem is the freakin cheapass lettuce if people in your restaurant

how this place isn’t getting flooded by foodies is a mystery to me. everytime i come here with my coworkers it’s either dead or very nearly empty. sporting a beautiful décor inside a tiny plaza, the parking situation is absolutely awful. good luck trying to secure a spot inside — your best bet may be to find something nearby. however, the food here is great and awesome. I have tried so far: — bbq chicken pizza — chicken parmesan sandwich(hot sandwiches come in an 8″ or 12″ version) — italian sausage sandwich — chicken kabobs with roasted tomatoes — buffalo chicken wings(appetizer only — on the hot side) — some sort of chocolate with raspberry sorbet dessert all of the above were really delicious and well made. if you intend to eat in, I highly recommend you call ahead as their food service is a little on the slow side. Neno’s takes credit cards(no mention of any minimums) and they offer free refills on soda on dining in. the prices are reasonable for the food you get. Neno’s is a neat place that serves up some great food. I plan on being a long time customer for as long as I work in the South Bay.

Suggested this place since they delivered and they always like to drop off menus. Didn’t have the chipotle chicken salad and she recommended the Chinese chicken salad — said it was popular. Now I’m stuck with a bowl of crap I ate a little bit of. So many things wrong with this… how can a place screw up a salad so badly? — DRY, hard, cold pieces of chicken. Some pieces tasted stale — the«crispy noodles» WERENOTCRISPYATALL. Again, stale — nuts not crunchy at all… not sure what kind of nuts they were but they did not go too well with the salad — slices of mandarin… why??? I’m throwing away all menus now.

Didn’t feel like cooking one night, so I decided to get pizza through grubhub. Ratings for this place on there were fairly decent(4⁄5 stars) so i decided to get some. Wish I didn’t. The delivery was easy, quick, and it came on time but the food was subpar. We ordered the shrimp scampi and a large cheese pizza. The shrimp scampi was so plain and greasy. I am a big pasta fan and this just didn’t do it for me. There was too much oil at the bottom, At Least a couple of spoonfuls. Yuck! The pizza had soooo much cheese. Normally, I’m not the type of person who would complain about that but it wasn’t even cooked thoroughly. It wasn’t the golden brown cheese that my mom and I were craving. We put it in the oven for a bit longer and that fixed it… But we were ordering delivery for a reason!!! If you already have a favorite item here and want to order take out, by all means! Their customer service is good. But besides that, I wouldn’t bother. It was not worth the money.
