Painting with a Twist

The first time I’ve ever done anything like this… and I’m not known for my artistic abilities! My friends and I went because they were doing a fund raiser for Paws Place and we are huge dog rescue supporters. You never know what kind of a cluster you will find at this type of thing, but it was well presented! The staff/​artist instructors were amazing, patient, and easy to follow.
Starting with a blank canvas and a bunch of blobs of paint was a little intimidating. For sure I was not going to pull this off! They walked us through step by step helping us the entire way. I still can’t believe I have a painting that I’m not embarrassed to hang in my house. We all finished with paintings that were so cool, individual, and really out of this world! We are already planning to go back again and try our hand at another painting! This time I’ll be strutting up to that blank canvas with confidence!

Had so much fun celebrating my birthday here with friends. It was a small class and everyone was so friendly. The instructor was so much fun. There was upbeat music playing in the background. We drank. We laughed. We randomly sang song lyrics. Oh and we painted too. It was such a great time we are all planning to go back soon

Painting with a twist is so much fun. The paintings are fun, simple and unique. You can bring your own brew or wine to enjoy while you paint. The instructor was nice, fun, and outgoing. Overall the painting class was a fun time. Don’t miss out find a painting you like and book the class.

We love PWAT and are so happy to see another location open in North Carolina. Wilmington is lucky to have Samantha Miller as it PWAT ambasador and her new store is beautiful. We went to her first «Painting with a Purpose» class, in which half of the proceeds were donated to Special Olympics. It was a full house and we raised over $ 650! Everyone had a great time and seemed pleased with their paintings. My husband and I will proudly be hanging our paintings in our home.
