My experience with this place while on vacation was great. While bf and I were standing outside looking at the menu(we were cold in there!), a customer leaving with her pizza heard us ask each other how large we thought a large was. She happily turned around with her ready-to-bake pizza in hand and showed us the size. We asked her how she liked the pizzas here, and she said she and her family loved them and boughtthem all the time. We chose the chicken garlic pizza and also had them make us a garden salad fresh to order(they have them sitting in plastic containers at the check-out), which they were happy to do. Yes, you DO have to actually cook the pizza yourself in your own oven. Because of this, the wait was less than 5 minutes. When we baked it back at the beach house our friends were renting(about 7 of them, and they had all chosen to buy burgers instead), everyone commented on how great it smelled. However, bf and I were the only ones to know how absolutely delicious it tasted!

First let me state that I absolutly love Papa Murphy’s, just not this store… When I tell you what happened you won’t believe it. I am a regular customer to Papa Murphy’s(terrible isn’t it, I try and eat a salad to help stem the guilt) and I usually go to the College store but they built this store near me and I have been using it for a while. I have always thought they were kinda a little skimpy on the toppings. Well today they did something unbelievable… The employee was putting sauce on one of the pizza’s and eyeing the scale like her life depended on it. She spread the sauce out and then discovered, oh god, she put too much sauce on the pizza(may the pizza gods forgive her!) and I kid you not she scrapped a thimbal sized amount off the pizza and then respread the sauce out, which now did not cover everything. When I made a comment about her eying the scale the moron next to her said it was for consistancy. No, it’s not about consistancy, its called being way too cheap. I’ll bet the poor girl had been chasitised for putting too much on her pizza’s — the manager of this place should go run a french restaurant where they barely feed you, he or she is not suited for the pizza business. Good bye Carolina Beach, Hello College…
