These guys deliver on their promise when it comes to customer service. Dwight and his team have services my cars for six years and I have never had any issues. My cars have never broken down and I have never been stranded as a result of using Pats! I will recommend the Pat’s team to everyone!!!

Went there for an inspection and was failed due to a crack in my taillight. Yet, according to the state of North Carolina, a cracked taillight is passable as long as there is no upstanding water in the light or there is no white light showing. According to Pat’s, there was no record of either the upstanding water or white light showing within my taillight. Therefore it should’ve passed. When I questioned it, I was told he failed it just for being cracked. Also, for a normally $ 100 repair, they wanted to charge me $ 330 to get it fixed! Not to mention that the person who recommended me here for an inspection, had a non-​functioning instrument panel and a broken sway bar (which should’ve failed her under suspension) had passed her inspection with flying colors. Guess that should’ve been my first clue as to what kind of place this is. Luckily my regular mechanic will be able to take care of my car next week for a much more reasonable price because I will never go here again.

Very courteous and highly recommended. We were traveling and had a low tire. Pats got us right in, removed the glass, and we were back on the road in less than an hour.(on a Saturday!!) Very economical pricing as well. Thanks Pats Auto.

Hands down the best place to go for vehicle maintenance in ILM. These guys have succeeded in several places where other auto shops in town have failed me. Knowledgable, courteous, hard-​working, and fair on price. Can’t say enough good things about these guys, after 3 years of using them I refuse to go anywhere else.

Bought two tires there, had a flat one day and when I went to remove the wheel found it was obviously over-​torqued and had a stripped stud. I’d owned the car over 10 years and removed/​installed the wheels a number of times with no problems, I know EXACTLY where the problem was created. When questioned, they wouldn’t even answer an Email. I wouldn’t let them touch any vehicle I own for free.

This is who I go to and recommend for vehicle service. Life time tire rotation with purchased tires. They have always been honest about price and time.
