However, Scott’s team failed to secure both vinyl and drywall and as a result he past on the cost of the material damage and incremental labor onto the customer, when questioned about this Scott the project manager became irate and yelled at me indicating that we could pay whatever we wanted but that he would not provide future services, He yelled over the phone that he did not need to take time away from his family on a Saturday to deliver the bill, we had plans for Saturday and had asked him not to come to mail the bill since he was unable to drop it off on Friday. He also berated me for not coming downstairs to meet with him to discuss the bill while he was there, he was 30 minutes earlier than his original 1−3pm window and I was in the shower.
I should also point out that his original estimate for the job was 2.5 weeks and that the work took 4 weeks, yes there was weather for a couple of days but there were also other jobs that were scheduled in that impacted the timeline. I have dealt with lots of project managers and contractors over the years getting screamed at while questioning a bill was a first for me. Sadly, I think this is a good company the work was done. Scott may be overloaded he seemed to over commitment and then forget. I won’t use them again because when you are getting paid by a customer you are really not entitled to rip the customer a new one no matter what they said.
