Stellar technical service! I’ve always been impressed with your technicians but this last service was absolutely outstanding starting with over-the-phone diagnosis and guided repair by Rich who helped me get my emergency heat running after a day with NOHEAT in the blizzard of Jan 2016! The actual on-site diagnosis which followed two days later(when roads were passable) as well as the final repair were also outstanding! You have a life long loyal & vocal service customer in me since you keep earning my trust. Now, sales is a different story as my experience was bad in having been sold an inferior(Lennox) system in 2005 by a salesman who I’m convinced was only after a kick-back from the manufacturer. Hopefully the sales staff will have changed by the time a replacement system is needed as I really would like to buy from Service Mark

We have used their service for years. Always professional, show up on schedule, get the job done and leave. I highly recommend their annual contract. They come in May to check the air and in December to replace filter and check the heater. We have used them for plumbing and twice for hot water tank replacement. In over twenty years since we started with them we have never had an emergency in the middle of the night. These people are truly experts in their field. I forgot they also did the furnace replacement and recommended a brand that has given us flawless service. Five isn’t a high enough score for them.

The compressor in our AC unit burned out in the middle of summer. I called Service Mark and they came out the same day. They were very detailed in explaining the severity of the burn out and told me they would install filters and replace the refrigerant twice to ensure the new compressor didn’t get damaged. I got estimates from other companies and none of them included this follow up. They replaced the compressor and refrigerant and then came back to replace the refrigerant a second time as promised. The Service Mark technicians are exteremly reliable and punctual. The quality of their work is worth the money! I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future!

I would actually give zero stars for this company if possible. I had a service tech from Service Mark come to do the annual service of my air conditioner in June 2014 as a new customer. When I made the appt, I also purchased a service contract for a little over $ 200. After spending 15 minutes in my attic supposedly inspecting the air handler(the tech never looked at the compressor) the service tech informed me that my system had 7 – 8 leaks that would need to be repaired(a two man job), following that the system would need to be purged and recharged. The cost for fixing the leaks was estimated at $ 1100 with additional cost for the purge and recharge. The price tag for all was b/w $ 2000-$ 2500 Before giving the go ahead I asked a friend of mine in the commercial HVAC industry to take a look at our system. My friend conducted a 2-hour diagnostic check which included pressurizing and monitoring the system and a bubble test for leaks. The result: NO leaks were found. The only thing our system needed was 2 pounds of refrigerant that cost $ 200. The following week I called Service Mark to cancel my service contract and explained the findings of my friend. I was told they would cancel the service contract less $ 80 for the service call. I was also told that I should keep the service contract because more than likely my friend who has been in the field of HVAC was wrong. I have waited to put in my review of Service Mark until the cooling season was over so that I could report on the performance of my AC over the summer. Our system ran fine and never had an issue the entire summer. If there had been a leak, our system would not have made it through the summer. Bottom line, consumer beware.
