Silk The Salon

I was a previous customer but I moved to Bear 3 years ago. I saw the Groupon thinking that being I left the salon for a while I would give it a try and return. I liked my stylist before I left but she was pregnant so I tried other places nearer to my new home. I guess Silk really is not interested in my business since they would not honor the Groupon. Yes, it said new clients only, on the certificate, I would think a lapsed client who wanted to go back would be considered new? Not the case, so now they have permanently lost any business from me. I will find another salon. Be sure they will honor it before you spend Money on a Groupon for this place. She told me to get a refund. So I did. It is a shame they do not know what customer service really means.

Update #3: She wants to call me a cyber bully AFTER I said she had given me 5 star customer service, I updated my original review per her request, I mentioned the positive reviews on Unilocal and I have given other companies positive reviews. She did this despite my update being very positive about her personally. She did this after using a typical cyber bullying tactic of needlessly including my name in her comment. As I mentioned before, she was generous in her offer to make me happy, but that offer was contingent upon me removing my review. No amount of money can change my original experience, that is why I refused to remove the review. If I had gone back and received good services, I would have posted a good review at that point but still wouldn’t remove the original.
I will say it again, read ALL of the reviews and decide for yourself.

Small, clean salon with friendly staff and good prices.
I had 2 decent cuts from a stylist, but after she left, my new stylist didn’t listen to me at all. She insisted that my hair isn’t thin, that I just «think» it’s thin. She gave me severe layers, (4 inches off?) when I asked for a trim. 2 weeks later and I am left with wispy, spidery hair. I just ordered hair extensions to help me cope :(
Overall it is a nice place, but be firm when requesting EXACTLY what you want.
