The Back Clinic

I feel so incredibly lucky that The Back Clinic was recommended to me. I wish I had found them years ago! I have been to several other PT clinics over the past 11 years since I first hurt my lower back, and this was a much more personalized and caring experience. Surgery was recommended as a next option three years ago by another doctor, which I am not interested in. When it got much worse this year, I chose to go back to PT to learn more exercises and retrain myself to sit/​stand/​lift correctly. I hate the large rooms other places have with the physical therapists working with many patients at once. When I’m in pain, I need privacy, and The Back Clinic (especially Melissa!) gives individualized care in personal rooms so that you can ask questions and know you are doing exercises correctly. I never felt rushed, ignored, or embarrassed. I know my back will never completely recover after I hurt it in my early 20s, but my time here helped me relearn techniques I had forgotten or didn’t know to help keep it in check, and it is very comforting to know that I can return if/​when I need to in the future. Highly recommended.

I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I have been with the services provided by the always professional team of the The Back Clinic, Inc. I have never had physical therapy before and was a little apprehensive but I could no longer tolerate the pain in my shoulder and upper arm. From the time I entered the clinic and was greeted at the front desk I knew I was in the right place. For the last 4 months I have worked with Melissa and Carol to eliminate my pain and regain the strength in my shoulder and arm. They also gave me the tools in the way of exercise to continue strengthening my shoulder and keeping the pain from returning. I can’t begin to thank everyone enough! My visits always started and ended with a friendly smile from the staff at the front desk and those that escorted me to the exam room. If I ever have the need for physical therapy in the future I will, without hesitation, return to The Back Clinic! Highly Recommend!
