Best Irish food in Wilmington? The answer is yes at the Harp! Awesome place for potato cakes, shepherds pie, bangers and mash and Bailey’s Cheesecake, just to name a few. This place is one of my favorite bars in town, for more reasons than 1. The staff is always friendly, there is a nice mixed crowd of regulars and new-comers and Trivia Nights on Thursday are typically packed. They have real authentic Irish dishes that you just don’t find other places in town. The kitchen here cares about the food they produce and they pay attention to standards and quality. Everything is done in house, home made and fresh… even the apple sauce! If you are in the mood for real traditional Irish, then this is a place you have to visit.

Had the curried chicken and wife had the fish and chips. Both were very good. I really liked the curry. One of my favorites. I’ll get it again. Service very good and always friendly. Prices reasonable. A little noise at times but not a problem.

Nice local feel establishment with good food and great service. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. We were there a little late so most of the dinner crowd was gone and the bar area was full. The only complaint is that the live music was a bit too loud for such a small place and didn’t seem to quiet fit the vibe of the place.

2 wks of passing by in the morning and seeing the parking lot packed I had to pull in to see what all the fuss was about. Mmm breakfast! The Irish breakfast is huge, but not to much. The flavors!!! Bangers, Irish bacon, black sausage, the fresh made bread. Today I lucked into a serving of their green tomato casserole. I’m about to drool on myself. There are layers of green tomatoes and feta all drizzled with a spicy sweet sauce over a crispy topping. To die for!

One of the BEST restaurants in Wilmington. Real comfort food wonderfully prepared. Even a simple thing like chicken fingers is put together fresh in a homemade beer batter. Never had a bad anything at The Harp.
