Thompson Cleaners

I dropped off a wool peacoat to have it cleaned since winter is over. The cashier told me it would be one week – which is fine. I stopped by 9 days later to pick up coat and same woman informed that it still wasn’t ready, but would be that afternoon. Fine I thought, no big deal but annoying. So I stopped by after the weekend – 3 days later. I stood in at the register for about five minutes. I could hear laughter and voices in back but even after shouting «Hello?» a few times no one came up to the front. I ended up having to call them (mind you I am standing at the register) and wait about 20 rings before someone finally picked up. I told them I was at the register and waited about 3 more minutes! Finally someone came up to the front and retrieved my coat for me.
The fact of the matter is this. Customer service and timeliness of service were absolutely atrocious. Thompson’s Cleaners is one of MANY cleaners all within the same vicinity. I’d highly recommend using another one. Will no be back!
