My girlfriend and I went here for lunch today. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich with cole slaw and my girlfriend had the Philly Cheesesteak with cole slaw. We also had the Crabby Fries as an appetizer. All of the food was very good. The cheese sauce for the fries was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a reasonably priced meal.

We went for trivia on a Tuesday night. Solid bar food(wide-ranging menu and a decent beer list), friendly staff, and a fun trivia setup. We’ll definitely be back.

Consistently a disappointment. Went there a few months ago and totally screwed up my order of bacon ranch Mac and cheese. They have me buffalo chicken mac and cheese and when I asked them to fix it it still tastes like buffalo. Thought I would give them a second chance. We walked into the restaurant and people were sitting on the benches hanging out and low and behold they were employees. So I ordered oven roasted wings with sauce on the side. They brought me fried wings smothered in sauce. I asked them to fix it and 2 minutes later I had wings that looked fried and tasted of the sauce I ordered as if they just wiped the sauce off. The hostess was walking around drinking milk and when we left 4 servers were sprawled out on the benches up front. The ledges by the tables had dust that was caked on. Disgusting. Super sad.

Second time here. So disappointing. How can a pub ruin a margarita this severely? Depressing. The only reason it has 2 stars is outdoor patio seating and semi-tolerable nachos. better off to avoid this place.

Wilmingtonians, don’t be fooled. Just because Timothy’s is on the riverfront does not automatically make it worth your time. Generic as could be, Timothy performs as expected– generic food, drink, and décor. I can’t recommend that you stop in, when better options are just as close, but if you do, keep it simple– grab a beer and an app and sit outside on a nice day. The Crabby Fries are good– French Fries with a liberal dose of Old Bay. Beer selection is decent– you’ll find your dogfish here, at least. The bathroom is bizarre– a TV in the only corner that is can’t be seen while doing your business. Service does nothing to add to the experience. Never felt like any of my waiters particularly wanted to be there. Again, go to Iron Hill or something. Nothing too special here!

Consistently disappointing. However, not a bad place to grab a beer and watch an eagles game. The wing special during games is not actually a special… It’s just a smaller portion for a little less money, and the wings still cost a dollar a piece. Don’t be fooled!

Nice spot for groups or work parties. Standard food and drinks. Staff is par but friendly. Parking is somewhat of a pain. Will update my review after my next visit.

Food was good. Service was horrible! Sat in the bar area at a table, had to chase the bartender for food, drinks, napkins, condiments, utensils. My group had to wait 20 minutes for even an acknowledgement from staff after we first arrived. If you are sitting at the bar I don’t think you will have any trouble. I would recommend sitting at a regular table outside the bar area if you want proper service.

Thank you Timothy’s on the riverfront for a truly horrible dining experience. The Mediterranean salad I ordered must have been shipped over by boat from a terrorist stronghold actually on the Mediterranean. I swear the dressings was made from ground up used latex balloons and demon farts. The olives were dry and wrinkled like a mummy’s testicles and the chicken wasn’t enough to make a single McNuggets. Waited 45 minutes for this disaster only for our waiter to realize he never put in our order despite multiple assurances that our food would be right out. Brings them to go(since we are late for meetings) but I’m missing silverware. Cuts a measly 25% off the check when I should have been paid restitution for being exposed to the sight that was this salad. I should have remembered why I haven’t been there in 5 years. Thank god Ubon is right next door. I hope Duncan C T Holyoke sees this as his warnings for Firestone have been quite helpful to me!

This is one of the nicer places to sit outside in Wilmington for a quiet drink and/or meal and it’s the one place right on the riverfront that will let us have our small dog with us, so it’s disappointing to have only a poor review to offer. Essentially, poor management and training of the wait staff lead to a mediocre experience. We’ve been here a number of times(though we won’t be going again) and, invariably, the hostess places only the food menu on the table as she seats you. Once the waiter arrives, you then have to ask for the drinks menu, which he/she has to go back and get. Why do they do this? It isn’t standard practice in other restaurants, and it only creates an unnecessary delay — as our most most recent visit testifies. Once we got the drinks menu, it then took the waiter three back-and-forth trips to work out which of the beers listed were actually available — a fraction of those on the menu. Our appetizer arrived before the beer, so we had to eat it without a drink. And the drinks arrived 25 minutes after we’d first been seated. The food itself is unexceptionable; the problem is the time it takes to get served and the inefficiency of a wait staff which is always pleasant but generally doesn’t seem fully prepared.

Great place, we will definitely return! My boyfriend and I decided to eat here when we were visiting the area, and it did not disappoint. We shared one of the appetizers of skillet fries, which were pretty amazing, as well as the Salmon salad, and the crab cake sandwich the boy had. The service was above and beyond, the drinks were delicious, and the amazing view of the river totally completed the experience! Thanks Tim, well done!

I called for pick-up after work. It is located right across the Westin on the riverfront. I got the chicken quesadilla($ 10.50 and crabby fries($ 8.50). The quesadilla was pretty dry and bland but I asked for extra sour cream so it was okay again. The crabby fries come with this sauce that is pretty tasty(white creamy). By the time I got back to the hotel room though, the fries were soggy. Average bar food.

I went to this bar on 6⁄24 with a friend and had a good experience. We both had drinks and I ate boneless wings. So I decided to go back the next day with 2 other friends. We had drinks, ate pizza and fries. My first Tangueray and tonic was very weak but I contributed this to the younger bartender. I drank it and immediately ordered another with the other bartender. No this place water down their drinks. So we ate dinner and paid the bill. Not thinking, we did not leave a tip. A man approached us at the door and questioned our service. When I started to say one bartender was better than the other, he started telling us how much they make and it’s not fair for us not to leave a tip. When his voice got louder, I walked off. He proceeded to follow us out to the sidewalk and tell me I was acting like a 3 year old and holler that we are no longer welcome at his bar and not to return. At this time one person in the party stated to yell back, I politely tell her to walk away. I would of had no problem tipping, I did it very generously the night before but when you walk out and holler at me for not tipping, I will keep my money in my pocket. The man said he was the owner, I’m not sure. But if this is what he does for not getting a tip I don’t need to patronize his business ever again. Who tries to shame a customer into giving a tip? Shame on me for forgetting to tip but just plain classless on you for treating your customers this way.

Arrived, waited ~10 min to be seated when there was no one else waiting. Looked like half the staff was just hanging out chatting at the back. Then we’re shown to our table to wait another 10 min without anyone coming to serve us, say hi, or bring us water. Walked out.

On 4⁄24 I visited this establishment for the first time. We had a rsvp for 20 people at 7pm and Gail was the manager on duty. As soon as our table was seated, the waiter came and explained that one of the employees in the past there has charged incorrect amounts to credit cards when processing multiple receipts/cards for a large party. As a result, we would not be able to receive are own individual checks, and had to use multiple cards to split one large check. My fiancé and I knew this was going to be a disaster as soon as she heard that, as we dine out often and that shows complete incompetence. Sure enough when the bill came we were given one large check and told the waiter how much money to run on each card. The sign of a horrible waiter is when they never write anything down! My fiancé even asked the waiter if he was sure he knew the correct amounts and he assured us he could remember! One minute later our waiter comes back and tells me that he ran my card for the entire bill for 20 people by accident! Oops! Gail-Restaurant Manager got involved when my waiter charged the correct amount to the card… but wasn’t able to provide any voided receipt showing the credit back to my card. Every consumer knows any business can and they always do provide a voided receipt! Gail-Manager proceeds to tell me that although I have 2 receipts showing charges close to $ 200 on my card, that the first transaction won’t post to my card and I should see it come off in the next couple days on my credit card statement. The correct bill and only bill we signed for was $ 40!!! Today I have my bank statement showing the $ 40 and a separate transaction of $ 20.99 which was unauthorized and been disputed as of today with Capital One! Oh but I guess I’m supposed to just be happy the full bill never posted to my card though. It gets worse in the end… Gail-Manager said the worst thing I have ever heard a MANAGER say to a CONSUMEREVER!!! The manager told me don’t worry. If it turns out that I’m lying and we do run the full amount to your card you can just dispute it because you only signed for the $ 40!!! WELLSGUESSWHATGAIL!!! THANKYOUFORTHAT! I would never ever visit this place again. Lets see, where do i begin. Food– Lackluster, bland, undercooked and under seasoned. Drinks –Watered down, lacked good quality. Not worth money. Service– Thee absolute worse. I asked one waiter for a lemon wedge for my water, instead of bringing it in a saucer or a napkin for that matter, he actually handed it to me, with no gloves. How disgusting? They failed to mention that their chicken sandwich had crab in it… and I have a shellfish allergy… VERYIRRESPONSIBLE! Thankfully I had my medication on me. Shortly after dining, my friends and I moved to the bar area for a few drinks and asked to open a tab; our arrogant and obnoxious bartender, said«we take everything except EBT cards!!!» Me: «EBT Cards!??, so what are you trying to say»…I totally gasp, because she obviously was insinuating that since we were minority women that we could afford to pay for our drinks… I was completely insulted, appalled and could not believe that I was racially profiled. Of course, we told her manager, who completely down played these comments by this ignorant woman and said she must have been playing. Really? We are a group of professional women, may I add a Registered Nurse, an Attorney, a Chemical Engineer, a Counselor, 2 Teachers and an special agent for a govt agency… How dare she assume that we only had welfare cards to pay for our drinks? We left and will never ever go back to this place. It was in poor taste of how they treated us. We would never patronize or recommend Timothys on the Waterfront again. I would not recommend… There are much better choice like Iron Hill Brewery that has way better food and better quality service.

Came here specifically for football. They do have a lot of large tvs(more than 10). The bartender was very nice. She was welcoming. They just seem like they don’t know who they are trying to be. They offer sports betting but have the servers were ties and sweater vests. No rhyme or reason to anything. Most of the customers weren’t buying anything beside lotto and pacing around watching the Tv’s. Food specials were nothing special. Stay away from the nachos. They were bland bagged. chips with some cheese and lettuce and tomato. The pizza was very cheesy and a good value for $ 7 considering. The lunch or dinner menu looked overpriced and Unappealing. I will probably not come back unless someone I’m with really wants to come here. I won’t give anymore of my money for bland food and sub-par atmosphere. You can do much better at big fish or iron hill for the same price… maybe cheaper depending on how you eat.
