This place is wonderful for gifts, thank you cards, book marks, books. There’s something new every time you go. Can be a little pricey. Also they have a cat you can pet! So one could say it’s purrfect.(I had to.)

Nice little book store in the Cotton Exchange Building, in the back just past the German Café. Books, cards, maps, some cute souvenirs. We ended up buying two maps — a Large Print map of Wilmington and a Large Print map of North Carolina. The Wilmington map was very useful as the city map which we had was too small to find streets. The readily available downtown maps only cover a few blocks in center city. Also picked up a few postcards and a paperback book about North Carolina in the Civil War. Gal at the counter was nice enough.

As others have posted, this bookstore has charm. While it’s not as big as a Barnes and Noble, it has character Barnes and Noble could never have and the saleswoman was willing to order books not in stock. I enjoyed the selection of books offered. I happily discovered new books in the fiction section and also books by local authors. It’s a great place to pick out beach-themed, North Carolina-themed and southern-themed books to give as gifts(or enjoy yourself!) The children’s section boasted coloring books and paper dolls in addition to books, some of which had stuffed animals to go with them. There is a large parking lot for all of the Cotton Exchange, and shoppers can park in the lot for free while patronizing the shops and restaurants.

I found Two Sisters Bookery to be unimpressive for a bookstore. Yes, they had some titles, but nothing I would be interested in. Selection was actually very sparse. Typically, I love bookstores, but this one just turned me off for some reason.

I love this store. It has some quirky stuff in it and it is always interesting.
