Wilshire Landing has absolutely no respect for their residents. Not only do they regularly violate their own housing contract by giving random, unnecessary fees to residents, but their staff treats you terribly if you are anything other than a white sorority/fraternity student. People of color have attested to their rooms being illegally searched, being called monkeys by staff, having the police called on them for«looking suspicious» and generally just being treated terribly compared to other residents. The complex itself is nothing like it’s advertised: dirty, unkempt, and the stairs and hallways are covered in cigarette butts and vomit stains, and Wilshire has no intentions of improving their sanitary conditions or becoming a respectable housing complex that treats ALL residents fairly regardless of race, ethnicity, or anything else. Avoid this place like the plague. It is NOT worth the astronomically high, almost 700 dollar rent.

This place is a sham. I have heard numerous stories over the past year of how the staff has been racist and sexist towards my friends who live in this apartment complex. The location is nice for as close as it is to campus. However, I do not appreciate the rudeness and discrimination of the staff who works there. The apartments themselves are dirty, moldy, and not somewhere I would recommend living. Walking up the stairs is worrisome because of the creaky wooden stairs, and trying to avoid all of the beer cans and glass bottles throughout the stairway and hallways are a nightmare. I have cut my finger on a glass bottle that was tossed out in the middle of the pathways before. Such a horrible place. It seems as though this complex lacks cleanliness standards and respect for their residents. Do NOT live here if you care about yourself and your well-being.

I have lived here for going on my second year now. I like the location and how close it is to work, as well as, other main areas of town. .
