I am picky. I know when a place is not clean. This hotel would have gotten a 4 star review, but they blew it. Here’s how… I checked two rooms before I committed to checking in with my family. I alway check the a hotel room before accepting it. The first room looked clean at first glance, but when I looked under the bed I found Cheerios and other food. That’s the kind of thing that breeds pests in a hotel. So I asked to see another room. The second room also looked clean at first glance. However, again I looked around the base of the bed and this time I found popcorn and a pill on the floor. Yes, someone’s medication. Now, I have kids so this pissed me off. Still, we were tired and needed a damn room and this place had a pool which is almost a necessity when traveling with kids. So I politely and discretely handed the lady at the desk the pill and popcorn I found in the second room and she apologized. The rest of room looked pretty good so I said I would take the room. If I had more energy and it was earlier in the day, I would have checked the other hotels. The clerk knocked $ 10 off the room price and we stayed the night. All else was satisfactory. It was a good call. Just check your room first. Housekeeping is not so thorough with the vacuuming.

We had to move to a different room due to the door letting in too much light something we have not experienced at any other hotel. The parking lot is not properly lighted. We had the complimentary breakfast, don’t have the refrigerated boiled eggs or the stale donuts. No hot food available. Also wifi was not working during our stay. Not as nice as other Inns but the bed was good for sleeping and the toilet/shower closet serves its purpose. For the price of $ 72 for a king bed, this place is acceptable.

Wanted to give us a room with no shower. What hotel has a room with no shower?!

Very pleasant & professional check in experience. Room was ample size and included a microfridge and flawless wifi connection. Quiet night’s rest on a comfortable bed. Property is two story building without an elevator. With the ample space in my king room, a sofa, recliner, or coffee table would have been nice to have in there. Overall a good experience.

I drove in late after being on highway 264 and got off on exit 121. There were five signs for different hotels all with in eyesight. First stop Hampton Inn, usually one of my first choices price $ 116.00 at 10:30 at night, wireless internet only in the lobby or some rooms on the first floor. Next stop, Sleep Inn, room $ 69.00 with Triple A, free wireless(easy to connect in all rooms –TRUE), free breakfast, and a indoor pool. Stopped searching right there. Check in couldn’t have been smoother, incredibly nice woman behind the desk with a big smile late at night. I highly recommend Sleep Inn off the 121 in North Carolina. Did just learn though check out is 11:00am thought it was noon. Traveling with a 19 year old…11:0am is too early for some teenagers on vacation!
