Something Different

While visiting from Maryland, dined at Something Different. I had the liver and onion entrée, and strawberry cake for dessert. Everything was delicious!
Service was outstanding. If you have an opportunity, it’s worth your time to dine there. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently photographed at a wedding and reception here. They made the place so beautiful! It’s a great setting for an intimate occasion. The food was wonderful! I fell in love with the chicken! I wish I knew the name for it. I can’t wait to try out this place again!

I had the spaghetti. The pasta was not drained of all the water before adding meat sauce. The taste of the meat sauce was terrible. This was my first lunch
at «Something Different».

Lived in Wilson for a year, but didn’t find Something Different until shortly before I moved away in 2013. In 2014, I have been back twice. The food is always freshly prepared and tasty. Very clean. Great staff. Prompt service.

Best caterer ever! I wish they also had a location in Virginia. They are easy to order with and are always prompt. I have never eaten a bad thing from them and my clients say the same thing to me all the time. Cherry cobbler and strawberry cake are awesome!!!

Went here with my husband for lunch two days ago. Nice atmosphere and well-​priced food. I had the best Philly cheesesteak here. The service was quick and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I didn’t have a chance to try the much-​talked about desserts.

I love anyone who makes my job easier AND has tasty food! Their tagline is «country club food without the country club price!» Love it!
I was referred to Something DIfferent by a client who I was bringing lunch to their office, they actually requested I use this place to cater. Since I was going to be in the Wilson area, I decided to scope the place out first, then bring the food myself since I had never used them before.
Something Different is not only a catering option, but it is also a café/​restaurant with a large menu of homecooked foods. Let me also just tell you that they have a wide range of dessert items which I hear is what they are known for. Their strawberry shortcake is TO DIE FOR!
The staff made is as easy as pie (key lime, please) to place an order for the office, and actually had it ready when I arrived. Anyone in the sales world who has to call on offices with lunch in hand knows how rare this is.
The dining room was fancy schmancy with white table cloths, but didn’t go overboard by making you feel underdresses if you were to show up in jeans and flip-​flops (because I saw some folks dressed this way and they looked totally cool).
The lunch I ordered was lasagna, salad, garlic bread, the strawberry shortcake, with sweet and unsweet tea. They had it all packaged up for me, gave me all accompanying plates, cups, etc. including ice! They loaded it in my car for me and gave me a menu and delivery service area, which seems to be almost all of NC! The delivery fees are reasonable and the food was VERY reasonable in cost!
I will utilize their services again, and am actually looking forward to it!
Something Different? More like, Something Fantastic!!!

Great owners, great staff, great catering. Good enjoyable meals with plenty of variety.
