Love this place!
If you like trying new beers and meeting new people this is place.
Great selection of craft beers including a lot of NC brews from all over the state.
The owner, who also serves beer is very knowledgeable about the beer he sells.
Great laid back atmosphere inside and out. Don’t expect a rowdy sports bar scene.
Draft selection is always changing and prices are dang good for a craft beer store.
The beer garden out back is great during the summer when he hosts local musicians from time to time.
There’s free popcorn and you can order in food while you hang out.
Worth a visit… or 10!

This lil beer store is by far one of the best craft beer stores we have had the pleasure of frequenting. Lemme break it down for y’all:
1. The bottled and canned selection is tops. You can find some seriously delicious beers for some deviously delightful prices!
2. The rotating taps offer something for all tastes and preferences! No matter what you enjoy, you will find a beer you love that is at the top of its class (and not served in crappy, dirty glasses!)
3. The service and the tap take overs are so much fun! They have great Brewers bringing some solid beer through Wilson and the folks behind the bar are chill AF, especially the owner, mr. Kevin Gross, who is a BAMF.
In conclusion, this store… this beer store, is Wilsons shining gem and you should come visit as often as you can! :0)

Walking distance to the amtrak station, for those traveling by train on a layover. Laid back atmosphere. Draft beer, growlers and bottles to go. Nice selection. Great staff.

Great place to gather and chat over an excellent selection of beers. Nice friendly staff and great conversation to be had by all. Such a nice place to visit.

The Beer Store is exactly what they say. Only beer in a quaint remodeled owner operator bar and retail store. The draft selection of 8 beers rotates and the big breweries are never on the menu.
The concept is grown from shared passion from owner and patrons of hoppy goodness.
Most Thursdays are tastings of local breweries
No growler filling yet but owner has plans to as well as expand next door to offer more seating and increase his shelf area in his current 1000 sqft of space
Also you don’t have to go to Germany to enjoy a beer garden. It’s here in Wilson!
Support of historic downtown is always a plus
