The Gallery of Flowers

I will never set foot in this place again. I’ve never been treated as rudely as I was when I visited this place to discuss purchasing flowers for a few centerpieces I needed to create. I was made to feel like I had committed a crime. Customer service was severely poor at this shop. If you don’t like being looked down on by owners with a crappy smirk on their face… then stay away from this place. The Colonial House of Flowers will welcome you with smiles and open arms!

I frequently send flowers in the Wilson area through Teleflora, and regrettably, this is the florist to which those orders are sent. On one occasion, I ordered an arrangement for a lady named Lily, and chose the deluxe option, which included (according to the picture) several huge, dazzling stargazer lilies. The product that was delivered contained one small lily. I was told that another arrangement I had delivered positively REEKED of cigarette smoke! The recipient had to leave it on the back porch for two days before the stench subsided.
The most recent debacle from The Gallery of Failures occurred on Valentine’s Day. Oh, wait a minute — no it didn’t! I paid *extra* for delivery on Valentine’s Day and the flowers were not delivered until the 16^th! This would have been fine if they were sent to celebrate the anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian statehood in 1918, but I usually just send a card for that. Teleflora’s response to my complaint was to refund 20% of the total price — they’ll be getting the Unilocal treatment shortly.
If you have a choice, don’t choose The Gallery of Flowers. They are not your buds, they will leave you hanging, and your anger will bloom.
