Amazing golf course! The staff was so welcoming to me and my family. We came to do nine holes and it was so much fun. The course is kept beautifully green grass, beautiful ponds and great equipment. Thank you Charbonneau for an amazing experience.

Great place for many different things. Golf, tennis, restaurants or just relaxing with a glass of wine. This place has it all and the community is awesome!

Charbonneau is a great course for the money. Three nine hole courses with sand, water not to mention houses on both sides. Its a challenge and a fun course to play. The course is not long since there are no par 5’s. However there are serval holes that would be par 5’s on other courses. I really enjoy the water and sand hazards. With these on ever 9 holes its a great challenge. The greens are well maintained along with the fairways.

Golfed there this last week(9 holes on the ‘green’ course) and was so surprised at how poorly the grounds were kept. The grass was super long in some areas, completely dried out in others. We did have one encounter with a grumpy neighbor that backed to the end of the course around hole 7, we quickly moved onto hole 8! haha. I’ve seen this golf course in much better condition in the past and will most likely return, at least one more time to give them a second chance. Look for a Groupon.

On the expensive side, for what they offer. With a Groupon discount though, you can’t beat it. The course is intertwined between people’s houses, so you always run the risk of angering a homeowner if you have a getaway ball. Most holes are Par 4, and not very long. Beware of a cranky old man on the third hole of the yellow course near the green. He apparently has nothing better to do but stand outside and yell at the passing golfers as if we’re stomping through his backyard. I was worried he was going to have a heart attack, so we moved onto the next hole quickly. Ice cold water available around the 5th hole, which is a plus. Overall, a nice enjoyable course to spend a few hours

Charbonneau has really grown on me. It’s a very well taken care of course in the Charbonneau neighborhood, just south of Wilsonville. They have 39-hole courses that consist of Par 3s and 4s. Don’t let that fool you, it’s a challenging course where I’m often busting out a 3 or 5-wood to reach the green on par 3s. For $ 17, you can play 18 after 4 pm. That’s a pretty good deal. And it’s surprisingly not very crowded at that time either. They do a fair amount of men’s and women’s leagues, but that’s the beauty of 27 holes, there’s always room.

Charbonneau has finally adjusted their prices to be in line with what you get. It used to be quite over priced. The greens are usually kept in pretty good shape and it can be challenging especially all of the longer par 3’s. Don’t expect a super welcoming staff in the club house but if you are looking to play a quick round and practice some of your shots it’s not a bad place to check out.

Charbonneau is a short course. A little longer than a par 3, but short enough that there are no par 5s. There are a few holes that are par-4, 200 yards — which really should be par 3s on a regulation course — so it does make you feel better about your score in the end. It’s also long enough to use your driver if you want. There are three nine-hole courses, and it is well kept up. Great course for beginners, and not really challenging enough for good golfers. It is a great way to start your golf game though.

This is the kind of place to bring your beginner wife to play golf. Holes are short with wide fairways and easy to reach greens. Augusta National it is not however it is the place to say«great shot honey, well done». She may even, like my wife get a birdie, and get hooked on the game. With that accomplished you can increase your rounds guilt free.

One par. One lost ball. One house hit. This is my typical round of golf. Since I am not a snob when it comes to golf courses, even though I’ve played many beautiful ones, Charbonneau is just about right. I am what you would call an infrequent golfer. I have moments of brilliance, but don’t practice enough for any kind of consistency, so the short course here suits me just fine. Charbonneau is a resort community in Wilsonville just east of I-5 along the Willamette River. The much swankier Langdon Farms golf course is just across the road if you are looking for more of a challenge. But at Langdon Farms, the summer mid-week rate is $ 80 and at Charbonneau you can play nine holes for $ 17 or 18 holes for $ 24 and the rates go down at 5:00p. The Charbonneau course is a collection of three 9-hole courses that are all par 3 and 4. There is a water obstacle on two holes of each nine(see note about lost ball above), but nothing is too challenging. The course is well maintained and lush, but there aren’t a lot of amenities that you will see at country clubs or fancier courses. It is a good course for beginning golfers, although the houses are really close to the fairway. Yes, I blame the course design for my lousy game.
