Two words: consistently bland. Flavorless bread with lettuce. I say that because every time I’ve been there, it’s just a MASSIVE amount of lettuce and a couple slices of meat and cheese. That’s about it. Tastes like there are no spices on the sandwich and the flavors all blend together to form… blah. One star because it is made super quickly so if you like fast food, this is the fastest of all fast foods. But you can tell it was made quickly and without any love.

My husband and I enjoy Jimmy Johns. It’s not a truly gourmet sandwich, but the bread is fresh and the sandwiches are made fast. It’s a great quick and easy grab without having to eat greasy hamburgers. And definitely a preference for us over subway. My preference would be to give it 3.5 stars, but since half stars aren’t available, I rounded up in its favor.

They have finally gotten up to par with quick delivery, before it was average 45 mins. Now it is always under 10.

I love the bread at this place. Other sandwich shops like Subway cannot even compare to Jimmy John’s. The fresh bread and delicious meat makes these sandwiches great. There are always lots of workers who are very friendly and ensure a very quick visit. I have known people who work at Jimmy John’s and when the employees are honestly impressed by the business that is when I know it is a good place to eat. It is absolutely delicious and I would go everyday if I could!

Asked for a vegetarian and my sandwich included four slices of cheese! No condiments or vegetables. Horribly disappointed.

Taste is good, but I don’t like having to wrestle with tough bread. Each time I’ve been my experience has been the same.

I’m writing this review for all the Jimmy Johns I’ve visited, around 3 or 4. All have been excellent with great sandwiches and fast, friendly service. I really love this company’s stores. In fact my wife and I often joke that if they opened a Jimmy John’s next to every Subway store in the US, Subway would be out of business in 3 months.

Not great, just ok. It bugs me that they advertise that they use«sprouts» but don’t. Too blah for me, overpriced and what’s up with not bagging the sammie? Just sayin’.

I’m not sure I understand why this place is popular. I looked up the menu on-line and decided on the #9. The picture shows it with nice thick sliced whole grain bread, but when I showed up they made it on a pretty bland looking white hogie roll. I figured, maybe I just didn’t order it correctly, whatever. Seems logical that if I order off the menu, I would get what is picture on the menu. The really weird thing was they handed me the sandwich by itself. I then asked for it to go, and, saying nothing, she hands me a bag from under the counter. I ask, ‘so I need to bag it up myself’ and she tells me they don’t do that here. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m the only one here with 10 employees behind the counter and you want me to bag up my order myself, no napkins, no nothing? Just a blank stare like ‘who’s this guy, asking for his order in a bag’? Just seemed strange. The sandwich was smaller than a Subway sandwich and just as bland, but more expensive. I guess I just don’t get it. I’ll take Subway for the convenience/price or drive up to Jersey Mikes for a good quality sub over going here again.

Blah. Boring menu options and a bland sandwich(#1). The big Kosher pickle was a big disappointment. I don’t care how quick they make the sandwiches if this is the end result. I would actually rather they slowed down and turned a product more pleasing to the palate than Elmers glue. Next time I will just walk around the corner to Red Robin — the product is 1000x better and doesn’t cost much more.

Jimmy johns is always good, but not great. My favorite sub is the Vito, an Italian sub. Service is always crazy fast

Jimmy Johns is always reliable! You can never go wrong with the Italian Night Club. They do love their mayo, though, so ask them to hold back if you don’t like it loaded. Now that Country Gains has moved, this is the best sandwhich option around wilsonville.

I love Jimmy John’s. I mostly have gone to another location near my work, but I’ve been to this one also and was very pleased. The sandwiches are made fast, and in my experience have always been accurate. I love the variety and the ability to tailor what’s on my sandwich. Yes, other chains do the same thing, and honestly they do it similarly. But I like giving my order up front and having them take it down and get it right. Seems like I answer the same question about what I want on my sandwich more than once elsewhere. And I love love LOVE Jimmy John’s crusty french bread. I’m not so fond of the close-in parking — it’s a little tight to maneuver — and I usually park out near the dental office instead.(This is a strategy that might not work in the evening, when adjacent restaurants are open and busy, though.)

Never had Jimmy Johns before but they delivered a bunch of sandwiches to my work for free just for the employees to try it and i tell you what I was sold. It was delicious and the best part for me is they deliver. My days of getting Pizza and/or chinees food and spending over $ 20 just so I can get delivery are over. Never been to this location but Ive had their sandwiches 3 times, delivery twice now and all I can say is WOW, im impressed, there always good, the employees are always nice on the phone. Last order I ordered a turkey and wanted to add bacon and avacado and the guy on the phone suggested a different sandwich which was essentially the same thing but would come with cheese and would be cheaper then what I had ordered. I just found my favorite sandwich shop.

«If you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you’re with.» That Crosby, Stills and Nash ditty was running through my head while visiting Jimmy John’s. This location recently opened in Wilsonville and they are putting on the full court press. During both of my lunchtime visits, I’ve seen 11 employees behind the counter, plus kids with sandwich boards on Wilsonville Road trying to attract customers. This isn’t my first Jimmy John’s experience and I gave the location at Bridgeport a couple tries last year. And my overall experience remains the same. Why, oh why, is «Gourmet» in the name of this chain? And«World’s Greatest Gourmet Sandwiches» plastered on their packaging is just wrong. I feel the same way about Five Guys’ marketing. Enough already. They aren’t doing anything fancy. Their niche is fast and basic with free delivery. The Jimmy John’s menu always strikes me as geared towards students and those looking for a simple meal. They lure you in with low prices for a basic sandwich($ 4.75 for an 8″ sub and $ 5.75 for a Giant Club Sandwich) and you pay extra for sides(cookies, chips and pickles) and drinks. No punch cards or frequent dining perks. Their sandwich menu, options(bread, fixings), sides and drinks is smaller than their fast food competition(Subway), as well as my local favorite, Country Grains. The low rating doesn’t mean they don’t do a few things I really like: 1) Plain Slims($ 3.75) are a really nice option for my kids and way less expensive than Subway. It is one of their basic subs, minus the veggies and sauce. 2) Jimmy Chips. I like the Salt & Vinegar chips in particular. Just FYI if you have allergies, their chips are cooked in Peanut Oil. 3) Free delivery(no minimum order) for those days you just can’t leave the office. Actually, the reason I knew Jimmy John’s had opened is that when I went to Country Grains there was no line, when it is usually out the door. I’m not too worried since they are winding down their operations in Wilsonville and are about to move to their new location in Aurora at Fir Point Farms. Perfect timing for Jimmy John’s to open, too bad their sandwiches aren’t in the same league. Parking is a mess in this part of Wilsonville, but they have a few outdoor tables for those sunny days as well as a small amount of indoor seating. They are clearly training new staff and were doing a nice job getting this new location up and running. Since their food just isn’t my thing, I’ll continue to get my sandwich fix from Country Grains even though I’ll be making a bit of a drive when they move in a few months. I don’t think it is likely I’ll ever grow to love Jimmy John’s as a local alternative. Crosby, Stills and Nash be damned.
