I’ve only had this pizza at the LO Farmer’s market. I had no troubles with customer service, as the other reviewer did. I ordered a slice of the margherita and it was superb! I love thin crust pizza. I will probably have it again, though there are lots of good lunch options at the farmer’s market! The other 3 reviews of this place by Gordon sound fishy(the owner? a friend of the owner?)

I encountered La Pizza Pela at the Tualatin Farmer’s Market located in the Tualatin Commons. The pizza looked good so I opted for the ½ pie at $ 7. The person helping me told me it would be the next pizza into the oven and eagerly took my $ 7 and told me to return in 4 – 5 minutes. I returned at about 5 minutes and noticed that my pizza was not yet done. I stood next to their booth while I saw 2 – 3 pies come out of the oven that weren’t mine. Finally, when he announced loudly that the Margherita pizza was ready, I moved closer to the counter. To my surprise, one woman received her ½ pie and then the man at the booth proceeded to give the other half to another waiting couple. They came to the booth after me. I knew at this point that something was wrong. I went up to the counter and asked when I would get my pie, He looked at me with a confused look and asked me what I was waiting for. When I told him I had ordered(and paid) for a Margherita ½ pie, he didn’t recognize me. Strange. The first response I would have expected would have been an apology but he said simply that he didn’t have a «ticket» for my order. I asked him whether he remembered me from just 15 minutes prior. Still got a strange confused look from him. He eventually apologized but I was not about to wait again for a fresh pie to be baked. I asked for my money back and fortunately, he remembered me enough to refund my money without a receipt. Too bad, the pizza looked good but customer service is more important than the taste of the food. If they had immediately offered a free pie, I would have stayed. But telling me that they didn’t have a ticket and shrugging their shoulders is not great customer service. I would not recommend giving any money to these guys.
