Outside of Portland, in the sleepy community of Charbonneau, you’ll find one of the purest remnants of a bygone era. The Charbonneau Barber is the archetype of the good old fashioned barbershop. Tim is not a hipster trying to bring the barbershop back in style, but a true authentic holdover from a almost sacred tradition that has all but disappeared. He’s given me damn fine haircuts for fifteen years now. He is a true master of his craft. If you want a quality haircut for a reasonable price with the added bonus of good conversation, you won’t be disappointed here!

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for over five years. Tim is the owner/​barber. He’s a former military guy who is now raising a family. I’ve been to expensive trendy salons and Tim gives a better hair cut for half the price. His shop is clean, comfortable and easy to get to off I-​5.
