Great place for breakfast. Limited high quality menu and excellent service with smart portion sizes. Life. IS too short to drink bad coffee.

They are so wonderful! Amazing coffee & service! The only thing is they had no idea about the Unilocal special they have advertised and did not honor. Still would recommend The Loop Café to everyone!

Ambience is «your neighborhood café” – very comfortable & friendly, and utterly lacking in the commercial feel of a Starbucks. People often run into someone they know. The«Profound Thinkers Society» meets there, as do the Wilsonville Walkers. The Saturday Special is strawberry waffles, and that’s become our Sat. morning ritual. Big Belgian waffles with loads of fresh strawberries, and real whipped cream on top. Their omelets are great – my favorite is their Tillamook cheddar. The menu isn’t huge, but the food is really good, which is more important to me. Décor is lovely – light wood w/wrought iron touches. A new touch every so often – in menu offerings, whimsical décor, or promotional work(For example, a couple of local fused-glass artists, and the Friends of the Library«donate a bag of books» program). Interactive touches: electronic picture frame shows pics of some customers, & under the countertop glass are coaster-notes written by customers. Overall, a nice place to take your computer, a friend, a small group, or a good book.

Recently discovered this café — had a great experience there! The owners were there and thanked us several times over for coming in. VERY welcoming environment. Friendly people who went above and beyond to make our visit a good one. We will be back!

I’ve been bemoaning the loss of all locally owned coffee shops in Wilsonville for months. First, Lamb’s Thriftway changed their vendor from a one-woman operation using local beans to Peet’s. Then local favorite Wilsonville Coffee Company closed. I didn’t miss Wilsonville Coffee Co. because of their coffee(Longbottom Coffee out of Hillsboro), but I did miss the neighborhood vibe. So with great anticipation I visited The Loop Café on their opening day. I’m happy to report that Wilsonville once again has an alternative to Starbucks. Unfortunately they are also using Longbottom beans. There is a limited breakfast and lunch menu, but the focus seems to be on coffee and pastries from Southeast’s Marsee Bakery. The environment is nice. Two comfy chairs in back and the rest of the space is dedicated to tables. There is an outdoor patio on the side of the building away from the parking lot. Owners and staff are starting off on a positive note and everything was in place this morning. If only they used better beans. I guess a girl can’t have everything.
