I was invited out with a friend to see«urban legends» here on Friday evening. A nice little theatre and the show was good too. I will be back for another show soon.

Didn’t know what to expect. Walked in; greeted with wine… off to a good start. Went to the play The Exorcism which was held at The Abyss Theater. Had never been to nor heard of it. They have been open since December and do small shows that you probably won’t find on Main Street. We sat in the small waiting area until the theater opened. One restroom, a few couches. All tastefully decorated. And wine! The hostess was very friendly and made us all feel at home. Kinda looked like home in fact! The main stage has about 50 – 60 seats in a small stadium setting. You have a good view from just about anywhere. There were no mics used as the place is small enough that any actor worth his/her salt can fill the room. As for the show itself? It had some decent twists and turns and kept us near the end of our seats. They were able to craft a pretty high-quality show on a shoe string budget. The actors were all well invested in their characters and they all played a role in the outcome! Overall a great time was had. I will look out for more plays by this company and events at this location.

I found this place on Goldstar. I always use that site to see what’s going on. I came across a show called ‘Exorcism.’ I thought this sounded interesting so I purchased tickets for my husband and I. This is a small theater that shows horror themed plays. They also encourage audience participation. Both my husband and I were interacted with during the show. I did see on their website you can let them know ahead of time if you just want to watch. I personally thought it was a fun experience. The performers in the show we saw were very good. I really enjoyed myself and will look out for future shows here.
