I was in town visiting friends and wanted to see a little of gay FLL. But food at homo hangouts can be a tricky matter: the triple threat of mediocre food, bitchy servers, or obnoxious atmosphere. Rosie’s was great! I got seated on the patio right away. The crowd was festive but not annoying. The menu is pretty packed and I ordered a quesadilla. Service was very good and the food came out quickly and well prepared. Staff pitched in to help out and I had several very nice chats with the people there. Overall, a very nice time and good food. Cant wait to go back.

We frequent Rosie’s at least once a month. This place never disappoints! –great bar type food, comfortable outdoor dining, great service, awesome drinks — and valet parking which is a great perk in the gay hood! Friends who visit us always want to know, «What night are we going to Rosie’s!»

I love Rosie’s Everytime I come to Fort Lauderdale this is one restaurant that I visit at least once or twice. I have always found their staff to be friendly and welcoming and fun spirited. The food sometimes takes a little bit longer to get to my table, but it’s just because it’s a busy place and they have a lot of customers. Therefore I don’t mind waiting, and you should come with some patience as well. Be sure to try some of their signature cocktails and their are burgers or their fish tacos are always great!

Normally this place is great. However, today came by for dinner and sat at the bar around 6:30 pm. Sat there for over 10 minutes and was not even acknowledged. Could not believe the terrible service tonight. We walked out and took our business elsewhere. Might be awhile before I go back…

I’m in town visiting friends before we leave for a cruise. They suggested Rosie’s for a yummy, casual meal. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a crazy day of traveling. The atmosphere at Rosie’s is fun and quirky. Our server, Orlando, was fantastic. I had the Big Fish Tacos with a side of loaded brown rice, and few G&Ts to wash it all down. The tacos were so delicious. The mahi mahi itself was fresh and simply seasoned– then it’s topped with homemade lime slaw, sliced avocado, pico de gallo, and a few other things. I’m glad I chose the loaded brown rice as a side. It was very flavorful, but didn’t compete with the tacos for attention. I heard the burgers are amazing. I’ll definitely be back before I fly back home to Boston.

I found this place through both Unilocal, and locals recommending it. I’m glad that I did. This is a great gathering place for food and drink, with plenty of outdoor seating. Rain, no problem, they have a covered patio too. The complimentary valet parking was unexpected, and quite nice. Our greeting was warm and inviting. The menu selection is huge! Lots of burgers & salads. My only ding on the place was service. It was just average. No one did anything wrong, but we had to ask for more iced tea. We had to ask for our check, after our dishes had been piled up on the table. Don’t think about going to the bar and ordering a drink. He waits on all the servers first. Guests at the bar are the last people to get service. The food is great, and I’d come back, absolutely. I just point out the issues keeping this from a 5 star review. Improve guest service and this place is a clear 5 star restaurant. But 4 stars is nothing to sneeze at, so do go check them out.

I just moved here from Texas and my date took me here because this is the spot he said. I was very impressed! Fun vibrant place to be! I didn’t want to leave! This is the kinda place you would want to bring a date or a group of friends reasonably priced and great drinks! Can’t wait to go again and bring my fam when they fly in from Texas! Very laid back atmosphere I loved how the manager kept checking on us to make sure we were being attended Love this place!

If you ever visit the Wilton area Rosie’s is one of those places you just have to visit. You will always find good food, cheap drinks and a fun atmosphere. They have valet parking ONLY but it’s complimentary and my friends and I take advantage of that a lot because finding parking on the weekends can be hard and even if you just stay for a few drinks and not eat you can leave your car there and bar hop around and then come back. Just don’t forget to tip well! I have been several times for lunch and dinner but they are known for their awesome brunch! As soon as you walk in you can see why. It’s a big restaurant inside and out and the décor alone will tell you it’s a fun and laid back place where the locals go to have a good time. The Food The names of the food alone are unique and funny. I have never had anything I didn’t enjoy. It’s not a fancy place on the outside but they know how to make good food! Here is a list of items I have tried including a few brunch items. Ka’Monawannalaya Dip — Smoked Wahoo and Mahi-Mahi fish dip served with jalapeños, veggies chips, capers, onions and crackers. I really LOVED this dip! I usually order the fish dip at all restaurants I go to and I have had some bad ones before but this one is really good! I shared this with one person and we finished the whole thing. Spin-Art Dip — Classic spinach dip served in a bread bowl. We enjoyed it and I liked the option of dipping the bread and not just having chips. Coconut Shrimp — This was surprisingly very good! Many places over coat the shrimp with coconut and make it greasy but this was not the case here. I would order this again. Hellena Bun — AWESOMEBURGER,(I would say all their burgers are good)! It is tossed in Rosie’s hot sauce, covered in blue cheese and fried jalapeños! Get this and thank me later! BLT — My friend got this and I had a few bites and it was one of the best BLT’s I have had(and she agreed). It’s served on 5 grain bread with a ton of super think slices of bacon and lettuce/tomato. Not Crab w/a «K» Benedict — I got this for brunch and I ate the whole thing! It was really good and the portion size was pretty big. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked and had lots of crab(not just all filling). It’s served with a potato hash mixed with regular and sweet potatoes. It was a really good combo I have never had before and mixed well with the crab. Mo’Fo Mojo Tacos — This was a really unique brunch item. The shell of the tacos are made with pancakes and stuffed with eggs, pork, sautéed onions, and red peppers then topped with cilantro. I had a few bites of this and it was surprisingly good. My niece finished the whole thing and it is served with the same potato hash as the benedict. Drinks Drinks here are cheap! The Bloody Mary’s are awesome(only $ 4) and the mimosas are very big and also only $ 4! They have this peach martini that is to die for and you MUST ask for the peaches(served on the side) because they are soaked in vodka and you get a little cup full to nibble on as you enjoy your drink but you have to ask for them they don’t just bring them to you.

Although a super-fun environment, the service and food left a lot to be desired. I ordered a signature burger, but had to send it back to be cooked more. The second time it came back, it was *still not cooked medium-well and was cold. The kitchen would do themselves a favor if they revised how they cook their burgers. The meet is super fresh and seasoned well, but if it can’t be cooked properly(which has been a sticking point for other Unilocalers) that piece of the process ain’t workin all that well. Our server didn’t seem to care much about whether the burger had been cooked well enough, either, which irked me. restaurants that miss the mark after trying twice should automatically comp the meal, IMHO. What I will say, though, is that the outdoor patio is fun and fab, as you’d expect for FLL. Festive… with room for improvement.

One of the funnest places to hang out in Wilton Manors. Free valet, lots of outdoor seating, good music and friendly crowd. Service is always pleasant too. The best part about coming here is the food and cocktails. I love their burgers! Freshly prepared the way you want it. My favorite is Anita Mojito(angus burger w/mojo, swiss cheese, shaved ham, pickles, and housemade dijon mustard aioli). Yes, it is a delicious juicy cuban burger sandwich! We also get the Baby Chicks — fried chicken sliders. Love the batter and crispiness! Drinks are also well prepped. Not watered down. Its great to spend a Sunday here cause we always ran into people that we haven’t seen in a while. Will keep coming back :)

A great place to have some good food and see some cuties. LOL! This place is often packed, especially during brunch on Sundays so expect a crowd. Their menu items have interesting names and the selection of different food is really impressive. Their menu is huge. I suggest the fried macaroni and cheese myself, but all of their appetizers are great. I usually get a wrap or maybe one of their award winning burgers, but sometimes I’ll switch it up and try something new. I’ve never been disappointed by their food. Oh, you’ve gotta try their slaw. It’s pretty much perfect. Valet parking only most days so bring a little cash to tip your valet.

Rosies has great vibes, amazing Pisa Envy appetizer, great Mai Thai’s, ice cold beers. A few weeks ago, they added about 4 new burgers to their menu. I’ve had a chance to try two. Wilma Breathstink and Gouda Gracious. Cooked medium, they were the best burgers I’ve had in years.

Omg, love this place. Service and food is absolutely great. The actual menu is slightly different than the menu online. I had the veggie sandwich because they don’t have the wrap anymore. My friends frequent this place a lot because they work down the street and I wish I were a lot closer. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area though. You gotta try this cute place. There are some other things on the menu that I definitely want to explore.

Rosie’s is a former Hamburger Mary’s and while I’ve always been a big fan of that establishment on the west coast, I can’t say I have the same feelings here. I went here twice, once for lunch and the second for brunch on a Sunday. The lunch was fine, nothing spectacular but not bad. The food was good, the service was good and the bill came to a little more than $ 35(including tip). All-in-all, not terrible. A little on the high side but not terribly so. Brunch was another story. I came here with my sister and we both had versions of their Eggs Benedict. Hers was with crab cakes and mine was with fried green tomatoes. She found crab shell in hers. I didn’t have that problem. Both were very tasty, the shells not withstanding. My sister drank coffee and I had one cup of tea. Why does a cup of tea cost $ 3.50? They use these weird tea bags that are supposed to look cool or futuristic or something but don’t taste any different than any other cup of tea. Andy they only have Earl Grey for a black tea. They should at least have a breakfast tea(plain black). They don’t. But they have plain black coffee so apparently, if you’re a tea drinker, you’re expected to only want flavored teas but if you’re a coffee drinker, you don’t. That doesn’t make any sense at all. When the bill came, with the tip it cost more than $ 45. That is excessive for what we had. If we had been drinking alcohol I would expect a bill like that but we weren’t. Neither of us even had a glass of juice, yet the bill was that high. To top it off, the waiter was rather unpleasant, which did not make it a very fun event for us. Which is a shame because my sister had been wanting to check this place out. I doubt that either of us will be going back.

Rosie’s is a fun place to come, especially for brunch! I have been here twice for brunch, and have not been let down! The atmosphere is fun and live!:) we probably waited for about five minutes for a table which wasn’t bad at all. The food is outstanding and their mimosas are great; especially for $ 5! :) i love their French toast, and the portions are plenty! I will definitely be coming back here again!

The food at Rosies is mediocre, nothing great or out of this world. Everytime I have come, the service is sluggish. At a table, I have waited endlessly to place an order and to receive my food. On a Sunday, it was packed which is great, but not an excuse for my waiter to pretty much ignore me. At the bar, I have waited with an empty glass for another drink for a long time as well. They need to hire staff that is a bit quicker on their feet and on top of their customers orders. I have returned after an incident during Stonewall Pride here, given it chances but always been let down. The first time I came, a patron(male) actually attacked my female friend by pulling her ponytail and he was not restrained and the attack was completely unprovoked. When I ran to her aid, considering she is a LADY and this man was unwilling to let go of her ponytail, a waiter grabbed me and bear hugged me against a wall and ignored her pleas for help. It was thanks to other patrons, and no staff whatsoever, that she was let go. The attack came out of nowhere and afterwards, they advised us to ignore the situation and did not eject the man from the bar because they claimed not to see how it began. They actually allowed, a grown man who just senselessly attacked a woman, to sit at a table afterwards! Completely unprofessional and appalling on their part. After contacting the police next door, we were able to file a report against him. Also, if you have ever been up to Central Florida or other parts of the USA, you know that Rosies is just a cheap knock-off of Hamburger Marys– which is infinitely better. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague. Not worth it, overpriced, and unprofessional in every aspect.

Wasn’t sure coming in to the place… knew it had good reviews. Also knew it was a gay bar and«regular» people didn’t Unilocal here(which is ridiculous but that’s for another time). Got the hummamloe app… awesome/different. I had a gouda burger, was cooked perfect and delicious. Gf got the back blue burger also solid. Brother kept raving about the Trojan wrap… safe play but he loved it. .and there was no rubber taste, haha. Step dad got the chicken parm sandwich and said it was great. Jeffrey was a great waiter. The key lime pie was awesome. Split it 4 ways but delicious. Definitely worth a stop in… gay/straight/black/white/human…get in here. So many options on the menu, can’t wait to come back to FLL to visit again. Thank you Rosie’s.

Rosie’s is some of my favorite places to go to in South Florida. That may make me seem like a drunk, but hear me out: There is something about the atmosphere here that’s unlike anything else around it. I love the indoor/outdoor seating as well as the indoor/outdoor bar. The décor is great. The outdoor lighting is always on point. As soon as you walk in, no matter who you are, always feel at home. I’ve always had good luck at the bar, drink wise, not dating. The bar staff is always great. Never a long wait to order and get your drink. The food. Man is the food delicious. Whether you want a big salad, juicy burger or even some tasty breakfast, Rosie’s has it all. I have never had anything less than a stellar experience here. The food is reasonably priced and delicious as all get out. Anyone can go here and have a good time. They sometimes have a dj playing which makes things fun. It’s a place that I can go day after day after day. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I went on Sunday for brunch arriving at 10:45am. Go early if you don’t want to wait. By noon, it was very busy. Inside is loud and it is hard to hear. They play good music. There are blankets you can use if you sit outside on a cool day. The patio area is very nice with a lot of foliage so you don’t see the road. Staff was friendly and efficient. There is valet parking or you can park along the street. They bring you a donut ball for each person at your table with an orange dipping sauce. Very good! I saved the dipping sauce for my French toast. The French toast is topped with a praline glaze and pecans. Very sweet and good. Everyone at my table was happy with their egg order. I took a bite of the crab omelet which has brie in it that makes it creamy and rich. The biscuit is huge. Four people for brunch with no drinks was $ 55. It was good, but nothing else on the menu screams for me to come back. My favorite brunch place is still Foxy Brown.

Le meilleur endroit pour manger à Wilton Manors. Bön service, bonne nourriture. Tellement agréable de manger sur la terrasse. Quand je vais à Fort Lauderdale à chaque année, je né manqué pas l’occasion d’y faire un tour ! J’adore !
