WELLITISNOTKEYWESTORWESTHOLLYWOODBUT ! It was a good time for one and all, this was my third time and it keeps getting better. Everyone is so outgoing and nice, For the big crowds of people, even the police were having a good time. Sure there was costumes from every form of life from Toto to Superman in a jockstrap even the Master Unilocaler MARQUS R was out that night, Unilocaling. It is a nice, friendly event for the young and young at heart. I found parking so easy, in and out but after 5 hours and at midnight my Camry turns into a pumpkin I had to fly off.

Great way to spend Halloween night. Wilton Drive is closed so you can roam freely and look at all the great costumes. There are food trucks along the street and stages set up for performances. Everyone is super friendly. You will need to park far away and walk to Wilton Drive since the street is closed. There were $ 5-$ 10 lots around the area for parking. There is loud music playing everywhere to create a party atmosphere. I would not recommend taking young children to this event. It is more of an adult affair. It is an older crowd compared to Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The Wicked Manors Halloween theme for 2014 was«Let the Evil in You Come Out,» and it certainly did but in a most entertaining, whimsical, festive and entertaining manner. The costumes were really something to behold, totally creative, innovative, artistic and since it is basically a gay event, what the gay community can come up with, one can’t even begin to imagine without actually seeing. It all takes place, right there on The Drive with dancing in the streets, in the bars, all sorts of music, vendors, foods and entertainment. I’ve been to these Halloween street events in WeHo(West Hollywood), Toronto, New York, Cleveland and elsewhere but none of them can hold a proverbial candle to that of Wilton Manors. It’s big, but not overwhelmingly huge or obtrusive. Indeed its marvel in that everyone is so polite, considerate and well behaved. Though security is everywhere, it’s like a holiday for them too, since even with all that drinking going on, there just doesn’t ever seem to be a problem.
