I have been taking my family to this theater for many years, from the time my triplets were probably three years old – mainly because of the location. It is convenient, with decent shopping and food nearby. In the last few years, we have experienced a number of unnecessary technical issues that do not appear to occur at any other Bow Tie theater in the area. Either the sound doesn’t come on until someone alerts the(mostly teenage) staff, or the camera itself doesn’t come on. Up until today – Christmas Eve 2015 – we’ve always managed to see the movie eventually. This time, a completely sold out theater full of people ready to watch the new Star Wars movie were treated to a sudden failure of the equipment about 20 minutes into the film. Ultimately, the manager couldn’t get the camera working again – mind you these are supposedly state-of-the-art digital projectors – and we really go the impression that someone who knew what they were doing could probably get it back up and running in 5 minutes. Considering the wait time up front, we were there a total of 3 hours for a 20-minute tease on what was supposed to be a very special day for a very special movie. We received 10 vouchers for our family of five for our trouble, but we were just lucky to make it to the front of the line. At the rate they were refunding people, those at the back probably had another hour wait. This is the last straw for us. There are plenty of other choices. We’ll just drive an extra 5 minutes.

What a spectacular movie theater. I will start with the location. They have a lot of parking for different businesses. Pizza place, Starbucks, ect. on a big lot they all share. It reminds me of a Christmas village. Staff is super sweet, neat clean bathrooms, and my favorite. stadium seating with large chairs.
