Went to a wedding there last weekend and everyone was very impressed. The setting is beautiful, the staff is wonderful(look out for Helen), the food was very good, and the experience is top rate. We’ve been to a lot of weddings, and this may be our favorite venue. Matt, the owner, is a nice guy, very helpful and relaxed. If you’re looking for a place that is relaxed but classy, check the Farm out.

Note: we are tough, tough critics. We don’t give five stars carelessly. This place is the best hidden secret in New England for outdoor weddings. We had our wedding at Curtis Farm in August of 2013, and it even better than we had expected. Curtis Farm was the first place we looked at of about 20 different venues with that rustic feel — from barns in the Berkshires to hilltop inns in Vermont. Curtis Farm just had a charm and personal feel that we kept going back to. First of all, the views are just outstanding, the sunsets are magical, and the grounds really well-kept. We knew we would be having an pretty upscale wedding with well over 200 guests and worried at first that maybe Curtis Farm would be «too» rustic for our group, but we had guests(both young AND old) unnecessarily going out of their way to tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. They sat outside to the summer evening, some people played games on beautiful grounds, and others enjoyed their cocktails under the glow of the sunset… it was perfect. Matt, the owner, listens impeccably well. When you tell him what you envision, he asks questions, makes suggestions based on his expertise and stops at nothing to make sure that your day is precisely what you want. He and his family made us feel so at home and provided personal and customized service that we would never have gotten elsewhere. Curtis Farm is the exact opposite of a wedding factory. They operate with the belief that every wedding is different and when you have an idea about something you want, they will make it happen. From a sushi bar, to an nontraditional ceremony, they made it happen. Other venues of this caliber cost 10 times more than Curtis Farm. We looked at many of them, and strongly considered them. In fact, it wasn’t the price of Curtis Farm that made us select it, it was the FEEL. To be honest, we would have paid much more to have our wedding there, but it just so happens Matt offers a great deal. If anyone would like to talk to us further about Curtis Farm, we would be happy to share our thoughts. Feel free to send us a message on Unilocal

One of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to was on Curtis Farm. The view and atmosphere were absolutely stunning. The rolling and expansive property is studded with colonial farm architecture, wild flowers and Victorian furniture that the owners leave out for unique photo opps. The surroundings feel rustic and vintage but not in a contrived trendy way. Bonus: there are alpaca living on the farm that you can pet!
