Small market with sparsely filled shelves of products. I came in for a soda but I really wanted a deli sandwich. When I saw they didn’t have a fresh deli making food I wondered if they had pre-packaged sandwiches. I found the fridge but didn’t find what I want. As I was paying for my drink(they don’t have a minimum credit card purchase amount Yay!) the friendly young woman behind the counter let me know they usually do have pre-made sandwiches but that they sell out fast. Oh well. Nice enough shop but didn’t have what I wanted so I left disappointed and sad. :(

Prices are kinda high charge you 7 dollars for a pack of smokes when they are 2 dollars cheaper a few miles down. Will only stop there if need be

It is great that these kind of stores exist as it saves locals a lot of driving just to get a gallon of milk. However, having said that I simply don’t understand why most of them need to be so run down and unappealing. It doesn’t take much money to spruce a place like that up. The lady I encountered did not initiate any friendliness, it was all my doing and she kind of just went along reluctantly.

We stopped at this store on our way through Wilton to grab some refreshments. The store is clean, well organized, and has a lot of variety. It’s sort of near the middle of nowhere so they have a lot of things you wouldn’t normally expect to see at a small store like this. At the counter, they have local nuts in Ziploc bags — almonds and walnuts covered in brown sugar — that are to die for. They’re $ 6 per bag but totally worth it for a relatively healthy, locally grown snack. We’ve already finished ours and I’m seriously considering a trip back out here just to pick up more of them.
