Bark, bark, barked at myself all the way there, «You’re only going for this one thing. THISONETHING!». And then there she was, an outrageous beauty, a Korean bellflower, Elizabeth. I can’t now remember what that one thing was but the bellflower, an unusual exquisite beauty, is quite happy in my yard. The bees love it and I’m stunned by its beauty, still. Yes, you can buy marigolds and pansies there. And other surprising things. It’s also a nice place to go refresh when you’ve had enough of the cold and snow and want to enjoy the greenery of their houseplants for an hour or two mid-winter.

Great nursery. It’s HUGE. They’ll have herb & veggie starters when they’re in season, plus house plants, cacti, orchids, air plants, shrubs, trees, hanging plants, annuals & perennials, fruit trees & bushes, etc. The gift shop area is FUN to browse. A few little complaints. It’s so huge that it can be a little overwhelming & it’s difficult to nail someone down to help. Bought Badger sunscreen here once & it was TWOYEARS expired — didn’t dawn on me to check the date before I bought it, & I got terrible sun burn bordering on sun poisoning while on vacation. If you buy personal care products like that, check for an expiration date BEFORE you buy as there’s no telling how long they’ve been there or how old they are. Standard shrubs like Arborvitae & other standard evergreen shrubs are really expensive here. I am all for supporting local businesses but the standard stuff I get from Home Depot or Lowe’s to save money in order to be able to get the more expensive, nicer, specialty plants here. :)

Great place! In addition to the plants I’m used to seeing at nurseries they had many plants I normally would go online to purchase: tall cacti, scented geraniums, lots of succulents, air plants, Meyer lemon etc. Open year round. definitely worth checking out!

Such a wonderful place! It can be kind of tricky parking here when it gets busy, but be patient — it’s worth it. Great selection of plants and flowers, as well as a «gift store» of sorts, with many different trinkets and gifts.

Definitely worth the drive out to Wilton. They have an amazing selection of plants, all in great condition — perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, houseplants, everything. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s big and there is a lot to look at, so plan to spend some time. Yesterday I went to 4 different nurseries and I saved this place for last. I found what I was looking for, in better condition, in more varieties, and at a better price than at the other 3 places. It’s only a few minutes from the Milford Oval, just keep going on 101 west.
