Ice Cream is really good, place is a small but has great candy. Swamp ice cream is delicious.

Between the delicious ice cream and the extensive selection of candy, this family favorite ice cream shop has been a staple of Wilton for years. Been coming since I was a kid, primarily for their signature«Swamp» ice cream – it doesn’t get much better! Overpriced, which is typical of small businesses in Wilton, but worth it.

This is my favorite ice cream shop in Connecticut. «Swamp» consisting of vanilla ice cream, Oreos, malt balls, caramel sauce, m&ms, and chocolate chips is the absolute best. It’s worth the trip on its own! Plus the shop itself is precious, the walls lined with candy. The best part is sitting outside under the large tree on a warm summer night while eating your scoops!

Nothing special. Overpriced. My ice cream had big chunks of actual ice in it. The girl working the register was nice, though.

Once in a while I go to a Unilocal!page and looking at the reviews feel certain that Unilocalers must be kidding. I was fortunate enough to pop by here recently on a Connecticut trip. It is simply amazing. I tried their ‘Swamp’ ice cream and it was just about the best thing I’ve ever had– a unique and well blended flavor with lots of sweet chocolatey goodness. The girl working behind the counter was nice and very generous with the whipped cream and hot fudge, which, by the way, was arguably the best hot fudge I’ve ever had. This place gets extra points from me for being a very small, personal business, evoking feelings of nostalgia in the best way possible. My only complaint about this place is there isn’t really anywhere to sit, but it was a small price to pay for the deliciousness that awaited me. Definitely check this place out if you are around this tiny town.

Scoops offers a good selection of ice creams and a huge selection of candy. Seriously, I think they have every candy you could possibly want, plus beautiful seasonal candies and chocolates. Although I wish the ice cream was home made it is nice to have a local business instead of a chain. The prices are a bit high in my opinion. That being said we usually enjoy our ice cream on a hot summer day.

This is a Wilton Heritage Site and neighborhood gem during Summer hot days. Candies and creams to meet all needs and although not top notch quality for a local homemade vibe it hits the spot.

Every little town needs a walk-to ice cream place where families can get a moment of vacation in an otherwise busy day. Unfortunately the ice cream here is nothing special(they serve Buck’s, fyi).
