Used to go here a lot when I worked in Wilton to get the chicken crust club which is really excellent. Had no problems with this places really until I was craving this the other day after work. I looked up there hours and it said they closed at 10:00 on a Friday… I called at about 8:45PM to place an order for pick up. They said«sorry we are closed». Before 9 on a Friday? I understand if business is closed or you know an emergency came up but I was already in Wilton and drove by and just saw them sitting there. Not great customer service when it says your open at certain times. If that has changed then there needs to be updates. Their other food is decent.

Three words: chicken crust club. Best thing on the menu. They have pretty good pizza too, but the chicken crust club is my go-to. Not even sure what makes it so good, but it’s practically famous among Wiltonians. They have a casual area in the front of the restaurant for grabbing a quick bite, but there’s a more formal dining area in the back, which is really nice.

I’m pretty sure most of the people writing bad reviews here are just stereotypical Wiltonians who don’t like the people because they’re foreign. Don’t listen to these jerks. The people at Tom E Toes are very friendly if you’re actually polite to them. They’re just not throwing themselves at your feet the moment you walk in the door. That being said they are a nice group of people who make excellent food. The chicken crust club sandwich is the closest thing I have found to religion. I haven’t even bothered trying anything else because this sandwich, two slices of pizza with bacon, chicken, mayo, lettuce, and tomato in between is like an explosion of happiness in my mouth. The pizza is good too, but for some reason the slices and the pies come out different. The slices being thicker and less greasy. But honestly the chicken crust club sandwich is all you need.

I went over here for the first time. I saw online there was a Mediterranean wrap that had feta cheese and was basically a Greek salad in a wrap. I went there and order a wrap; you know the Greek one with feta and the Mediterranean stuff. She gave me what I thought was my wrap and I walked back to my office. I opened it up and saw chicken in it and went whoa this isn’t what I ordered. I didn’t see chicken on the Mediterranean wrap on the menu. I went back saying they gave me the wrong one. The woman and this guy, the owner and his wife, I have no idea, where VERYRUDEANDCONDESCENDINGTOME. Telling me there was a Greek wrap and that was what I ordered. I said no when I said I wanted a Greek wrap, the Mediterranean one. I somehow ended up with this Greek wrap with chicken. When I said to her that I wanted the Greek/Mediterranean style of wrap I had no idea that these were two different wraps and it wasn’t their job to pick one for me. She should have asked to clarify. The guy actually had the gall to tell me to make sure I had the right menu item before I ordered. I said I did, that I ordered the Greek/Mediterranean wrap and they made a mistake. The woman actually laughed at me and said that this was a Greek place and that all places are like this. Bottom line, it was an obvious miscommunication but when I said Greek and Mediterranean wrap the woman should have corrected me, not just ignored me and picked which wrap I was getting. What could have been a simple miscommunication turned a very rude experience for me. Customer service was horrible and they were rude and condescending. I understand now why they are always dead in there. What was I thinking going to a place called Tom E. Toes. I’d be better off at Wilton Pizza or Planet Pizza. Worst of all, my wrap is chewy and probably one of the worst ones I have had. I will never be back here. If I want a Greek/Mediterranean wrap I will get in my car and drive down the street to a myriad of other choices. I had never been before so I tried it. I am good now, Wilton has many food choices where I will spend my money and this isn’t one of them. If only there weren’t such a-holes to me but they were and that’s not how you treat a customer. What a shame.

I LOVE Tom E Toes! I opened this store back in the early 90’s and delivered for them throughout high school. Wonderful, generous and kind people own and operate this pizza joint(they did 20 years ago anyway, hello Rick :)) Let me tell you guys something, they make everything fresh and in-house. I used to weigh dough, cook-off italian sausage, and make real salad dressing. Everything is super fresh and they really do care about serving folks high quality items. It’s casual, good to go or get delivered– don’t forget to take care of your driver ;)

I feel like this place needs some sticking up for. I travel to Wilton/Norwalk for work, and this place is a treat I make sure to indulge in ever visit. I even stopped once on a drive from New Hampshire to New Jersey — yes, it was worth going out of my way to show my wife the greatness! But I have to be honest; I stick with the chicken pizza crust club. I’m just that way — I find a winner and I stick with it. The Tom-E-Dog is also worth trying tho — that thing is extra special… BBQ sauce, fresh dough, melted cheese, and a hot dog? How is this not a thing? Give these menu items a try and you should have a good time. It’s worth it.

Tom E Toes is a regular for us at home or ordering from work. One of our favorites is the family meals which will feed the 4 of us and leftovers as well. BBQ Chicken and Shrimp & Pineapple are favorites as well. Also their Cajun Chicken Salad and Fresh Mozzarella & Grilled Chicken Salad is great with Beets and green beans are delicious as well.

Wow, here’s a place where the food totally under delivers against the promise of the experience. Cool name, kitschy décor, hole in the wall location would seem to be a good omen for proper Connecticut pizza. Not so fast, my friend. Ordered two slices of cheese. Review: –Cold –Oily –Thin crust, but impossibly uncrispy. Chewiest, doughiest crust you will ever find. —Cheese — not noteworthy —Sauce-devoid of flavor All in all, a grim experience that must not be repeated. Does anyone know of proper pizza in Wilton???

I placed an order and paid with my credit card through GrubHub. Tom-E-Toes then calls me demanding my credit card info for something I already paid for. I refused to give it to her and she was very rude about it. Not only that, but when I finally did get my food, the entire order was messed up. I then contacted GrubHub and they agreed with me and said they have had similar issues with them in the past. Last time I order from here.

Dear Tom-E-Toes Pizza, Look up the definition of panini and change your menu. I ordered a turkey panini and it was a simple turkey sandwich with the ingredients listed — on toasted bread — not pressed! Not pressed means it is not a panini. I would not have ordered this sandwich had I known it was just stuff on toast. Paninis are pressed and melted. How disappointing. :(I’m cranky now.

Why are they mean here? They don’t have to be! They could be nice, right? Maybe it’s because they have a lock on the pizza in town? Maybe it’s because they think their food is fabulous?(It isn’t). Maybe it’s because … oh, heck, I don’t know why, but they are. Super mean! Ooh, I hate giving one-star reviews, but this warrants it. When you barely acknowledge my presence when I come in to pick up the food I ordered an hour ago, and it still isn’t ready, and you make me stand there for ten more minutes without saying ONEWORD to me about what’s going on or when the food will be done, that warrants one star. When you grunt at me when handing me the food, that warrants one star. When I get home and there is mayo on all the food that I ordered, even when I expressly asked it not to be, that warrants one star. So sad, because this place could be a wonderful neighborhood joint, but it just isn’t.

The only thing that they have going it their«award winning Chicken Sandwich» which they won like 10 years ago. Asked for a slice of pizza with mushrooms. They took a plain slice with yellow and white cheese, put mushrooms on it, then put white mozz over the mushrooms, warmed it up and served. Disgusting. Will not go here again. Except to order the«award winning sandwich» which isn’t that good.

Portions are not only small, but incredibly bland, tasteless, and overpriced. I made the mistake of having some pellegrino from the bottle that was conveniently placed on my table without me asking, and got charged $ 6…six freaking dollars for seltzer?! this place is ridiculous and I will never go there again.

We recently dined here and would not recommend it. On a Wednesday night at 7 pm only 1 other table was being used in the«dining room». The entrees were bland and veal parm was not a good rendition, while the shrimp in the shrimp ravioli looked frozen. The pizza was average and service slow. We ordered a glass of wine and it tasted either watered down or very stale. With all of the great pizza and Italian places in Connecticut it is surprising that most of the options in Wilton are lacking.

Casual sit down or more formal option if a slice doesn’t do. It’s good to ok but nothing to go out of the way for. The family friendly environment is likely a highly attractive pull for those looking for some Italian grub. It’s a decent pizza pie with various options but nothing gourmet by any means.

With a cute name like theirs, I was hoping for a better slice of pizza than what I had yesterday. It was kinda gross. Not sure how everything else is like here but I don’t know if I will be coming here again. Oh. The pic is what I uploaded. Does that look appetizing?
