I found out about Blink Optical from the Enchroma website. Enchroma is a company that has produced lenses for color blind people like myself. Blink Optical is the only retailer of the Enchroma lenses not in the state of California. I live in Dallas about 3.5 hours away from Leah Johnson and Blink Optical just south of Austin, Texas. When I found out about Blink Optical carrying the lenses, I called and spoke to Leah, who is just awesome. She told me to come on down to try the lenses, and if I liked them, she could put them on almost any frame that she had in store. The store was a nice setting in a small town. Leah and her staff were great. They helped me shop for frames to put the enchroma lenses on. In the end, I ordered a Tom Ford frame with the enchroma lenses. Thank you Leah! By the way, the store recently flooded due to the tragic flooding in Wimberley and Blink Optical is moving its location to another place in the area so be sure to call Leah to see where they are. But through the middle of the relief efforts of the Wimberley flooding, Leah kept in touch with me about when my glasses would arrive. She’s a rock star. Enchroma glasses: You can order the Enchroma glasses with their own frames through the Enchroma website, but there is a huge back-order. There is a 30 day money back guarantee if they do not work for you. I went to Blink Optical because they actually have them to try on. Once I purchased them at Blink Optical, Leah made sure that I received them from Enchroma before my trip to Thailand in less than 2 weeks. Thank you again Leah! Going to Blink Optical probably saved me 4 – 6 weeks before I actually had the glasses in hand, plus I’m now rocking Tom Ford. I always reread things before I submit them… call me anal if you want, but just wanted to let everyone know that this post is from a regular guy and how I was treating by Leah at Blink Optical. I sound almost like I’m trying to promote Enchroma and Blink Optical. But bottom line, I’m not, this was just my great experience. Enchroma does not work for everyone, but you can be sure to be treated well at Blink Optical.
