Order your burger any way you like it but be prepared to eat something else. Their accuracy and presentation leave much to be desired.

Tried to order a cake, they couldn’t find the form. Left my info, no one called me back. Should have my cake now — don’t!

New management, recent store remodel – way better food prep, food quality, and customer service. Gone is the messy condiments bar – with the nasty catsup volcano. Catsup now in squeeze bottles on tables, along with salt & pepper, and napkins. Of the several times I’ve been since the changes, the fries have only been sub par once. Burgers have always been freshly made and served HOT – not warm – HOT. Not shabby for a fast food joint, especially one in a small town.

Still haven’t improved the quality of the food. All DQs aren’t created equal. The San Marcos IH-35DQ is good and the New Braunfels Business 35 is great. The owner or manager must not read Unilocal. They overcook the chicken strips and show no effort to make the tacos or hamburgers presentable or worthy of the money. Hey owner or manager, take a trip to the other DQs and see how it is done right.

I just had the worst hamburger I have ever had a a Dairy Queen. It had maybe four strips of lettuce and two pickles. Fries were barely warm. While I was sitting at the drive through I watched three people working walk around two bananas lying on the floor, no one ever picked them up. Girl who worked the window was not rude but not friendly either. Even though there are few fast food restaurants in Wimberley for quick meal pickup I will not be going back to this Dairy Queen.

Got a taco salad, started eating it out of the cardboard container it came in. As I started mixing the meat and salad around the shell moved a little and I discovered a small dead bug underneath it. NEVER. AGAIN!!!

Subpar as Dairy Queen locations go. The management is friendly and extremely helpful, but when the store is left to the kids running it, service drops, food quality suffers and it is no longer pleasant.

Only DQ that’s worse is in Johnson City. Even the ice cream here was gritty last time I tried it. And I mean that’s the LAST time.

Locally we call this one of the worst DQ’s in Texas. However, they recently posted a New Management sign(Jan 2010), so hopefully things will improve. Of course, being a bad DQ didn’t stop us from eating ice cream there, but we’re not much on their food.

I just wanted to leave a review saying that I just LOVE the ice cream cake lady at DQ! I called her and asked her if there was any way she could do my wedding cake. She was a bit shocked, but wanted to know what I was wanting. I asked her if there was any way she could stack the 8 and 10 inch rounds. She said she would come up with something. When my husband picked them up I was more than impressed! She did such a wonderful job on the cake!!! I almost didn’t want to cut it because it was just so perfect, BUT it’s my FAV cake in the world! Thank you so much for making my dream wedding cake! Not to mention the price for my wedding cake was like $ 30 instead of the $ 700 from a bakery! We will be ordering an anniversary cake only from her for many years to come!!!
