I found New Sun through Groupon. Yes, wanted to get a little color before Unilocal Spring Break, but who knew an attempted bait and switch was included with this deal? I was swayed over other tanning companies because New Sun’s website says they use St. Tropez, which is a product I like. And $ 19 for a «custom» spray tan in my home, rather than standing naked in a tanning cell getting an even coat of orange goo sounded like a good proposition. Until I called to schedule. The woman answered, Dawn, with just a «Hello» rather than a business greeting. Odd. Methinks personal cell and not a business phone. I said I wanted to schedule a tan and I had a Groupon. We scheduled it, I’m thinking everything is all set. An hour later, I get a text staying that her travel fee was $ 45 and that she was having trouble with Groupon and wouldn’t be working with them. Umm, not sure how all of a sudden this is my problem agree we agreed to a time and form of payment already. I told her to cancel my appointment, that as the end customer, it’s not right for me to pay for a business’ issues with a third party. Luckily, was able to get my refund from Groupon. *BEWARE*
