Battery Mart

As a college student it is hard to often do the adult things like getting a new car battery with out mom and dad right around the corner. And the price didn’t kill my budget either. Battery Mart was extremely helpful and very fairly priced. They replaced the car battery for me very quickly and I could watch from the window in the waiting area. The staff was friendly and efficient and took great care to make sure I understood exactly what I was paying for. They fix and or replace everything from car batteries to watch batteries. This comes highly recommended from one thrifty college student in search of high quality service!

I just purchases a battery for my Indian Chief Vintage 2009. The website claimed that the battery fit my bike, but when it came, it was sized too big to fit the battery holder. BatteryMart would not pay for the return shipping so I’m out the time and shipping cost for their error. Buyer beware!
UPDATE — I returned the battery with their approval but BatteryMart refused to refund my money claiming the battery was returned damaged from shipping. I’m out almost $ 200 and received NOTHING from BatteryMart. Crazy experience.

I had the same problem someone else mentioned. payed for expedited shipping to get my car back on the road and I was asked to confirm the shipping address this im sure made me miss shipping for that day and at the very lest delayed my order by a day. Why on earth would you pay someone to add extra inconvenience with no added benefit. If i was a crim I would have put my phone number in and confirmed my address just the same so I don’t see any point in this.
Do what every other company does and send me an email to confirm!

We placed an order. Before the order was shipped, we contacted customer service on the telephone and email and reminded them to put our villa number on the shipping address as there are 167 units at our resort.
They responded to one of our emails that we did not tell them a villa number and they did not receive our email even though our system did not show it being returned and they acknowledge receiving another email from us to the same address. Their customer service person was obnoxious and would not allow us to talk to her superior. Be warned, order from Amazon instead. We order a lot of batteries. At the same time we placed an order for two batteries at Amazon and everything was very smooth.

This is my first Unilocal review, due to a crazy bad morning.
Worse service ever on the shipping end of things. I placed an order on a Thursday and paid the crazy $ 27 for overnight. On Friday right before noon (their shipping cut off from what I have learned) I got a call to verify the shipping address since it is different than the billing. They provide you with two rows of columns to enter billing and shipping (billing listed as company name). The company card has my name on it, so there was little room for confusion. When I got out of a meeting and got back to them they said I already missed the shipping cut of day, so I won’t get the product till Monday. Total waste, as the only need was for this weekend… Monday, two days late and extra money wasted on rush shipping…
So just for the heads up… Watch your Thursday late day orders… Answer a random call from Virginia, and if you can make sure the billing and shipping address are the same if you need your package in a rush. Their shipping cut off is 2pm each day (to make it into their bulk shipping run) and things do not ship directly from them but a third party shipping location.
To the people at Battery Mart,
1) if you have an issue with split billing/delivery…put documentation on the website stating that there will be a security check via phone before the order is shipping.
2) When people select Overnight Delivery, let them know daily cut off times so they can decide on paying the extremely high price for it (it actually doubled my total cost).
3) Not sure if someone spending $ 25 justifies what would really happen if my card was stolen and needed to be flagged… but hey, maybe there are some strange thief’s out there who just want battery charger next day.
Hope this keeps someone else from going through what I did. I feel like I should have just driven to Oakland and got mt product from a local dealer, but live and learn.

I bought a battery to replace the factory one in my diehard jumper pack for field use while camping. It gave me 5 days of usage running a box fan intermittently while keeping my extremely hungry extended-​battery smart phone charged. Exactly what I needed it to do.
Then the shipper bungled the address. After a few days of mystery and zero action from the shipper, I reached out to batterymart in hopes that a complaint from them might carry a bit more weight. Not only did they do that, they offered to overnight me another and take it up with the shipper. That’s a first for me.
I couldn’t be happier with their service, and I’ve been singing their praises to my peers. We’re crazy people who spend days living outside for fun. I personally spend about 480 hours a year camping. Obviously, batteries are pretty important to us. These guys have my business. Period.

Another order and a delivery in 1 ½ days. A 12v sealed battery for a fire alarm system. Can’t ask for much more than that. I’m a real fan of this company.

Need a battery? Go to Battery Mart. Not just for car batteries — motorcycles, boats, lawn mowers, etc. Laptop battery shot? Go to Battery Mart. Cordless Power tool battery shot? Go to Battery Mart, they rebuild them at a fraction of the cost for new. Battery chargers thay have those too. In short anything that needs a battery call Battery Mart first. Great prices.
