What an adorable shop! This store offers so much to the great and small (yes — great and small) town of Winchester. It’s a second hand shop, but only of nice second hand things. Every item you’ll find is in great condition and the shop itself is a remodeled old home. You’ll notice that the ladies that work there are incredibly sweet and I’ve personally known one of them most of my life. Great lady.
During Christmastime, Deanna and her husband cut out and paint wooden ornaments. Since about 2006, my siblings and myself have gotten an ornament from her every Christmas. Our tree is literally covered with them — which makes for great memories. Even after I’ve moved out, I go back with my family each year to pick out another ornament.
The store also smells wonderful — bringing forth a sense of comfort. I hope this shop remains as it is for a long while. If you’re passing through Winchester, which never takes long, consider stopping at Cashmere Cat. It can be difficult finding worthwhile things to do in a small town — so consider this a helpful tip.
