Quite possibly the worst food ever. An insult to independent restaurants everywhere. Get a cook or a cookbook. Sent the special pork chops back and got a dry frozen patty melt. Waitress was nice. Got SICK immediately after leaving.

Nothing much more to say than the rest: good, simples, quality, good prices, fine atmosphere, pancakes and hot tea!

Lots of yummy food for reasonable prices! I love coming here when I am craving breakfast, but they also have bangin chicken noodle soup, sandwiches ect. Family friendly :-)

This place is solid! If you need a hearty breakfast this is the place to eat — service is fast and although a bit in the homey side it’s simplistic and filling!

An annual tradition when I come into town I hit this spot up for breakfast. Food comes fast… and tastes good. My friends daughter loves the kicker mouse pancakes. Lots of parking around back.

Now THIS is what I was looking for. Local diner, friendly to the locals BUT doesn’t ignore the visitors or first timers, and with a decent price. Everything is made fresh and the staff was on the ball. Definitely planning to make a return visit.

Traveling through on our way from Yardley, Pa to Pigeons Forge, TN. Breakfast was very good. Anything from the griddle was fantastic as were the cheesey grits! You can skip the sausage gravy and biscuits. Server was great!

Very much what you’d expect from a diner establishment. I’ve eaten here twice, and both times it was very good. My complaint was that the the apple juice was extremely small, I should have just gotten the large. But I have ordered the pancakes, and the french toast here. Both are very good, and the pancakes are not small. The french toast has a nice taste, and they top it with powdered sugar to boot. The canadian bacon was also really good, very lean and flavorful. My eggs were not runny at all either, and they were very well prepped. The place is also very clean and friendly, though certainly not the place that strikes you in a conversation. They seat you, you eat, and then you walk out. That’s pretty much it. I’ll try to return again, but this was definitely a nice place to eat a nice breakfast for.

Great breakfast spot. The cooks are magicians, flipping eggs and everything In between like an orchestrated masterpiece. Servers are all long timers who know how to bring food fast w a smile. Rarely have to wait for refills even on their busiest day. Prices are very affordable, think ihop with better food and service. A regular bumpin spot on Sunday mornings.

Came here on the recommendation of Trip Advisor. And this is diner food at its best. I had the steak and eggs combo, my daughter had the papermill combo, and my youngest daughter had their crispy chicken salad. Delicious and perfect to the last bite. The staff was courteous, the restaurant was clean, and the prices more than reasonable. It was so good that my kids asked if we could go back the next day.

Ok diner food. Nothing special, because lots of frozen, premade items, but decent overall.

I eat here every few weeks recently but always for breakfast. It’s good home-cooking at a fair price. It’s usually an older crowd(55+) when I’m in there but that’s fine by me. They have a dining room and a counter area. If you’re going on a Sunday morning, get there early because the place gets busy.

I always wait to post reviews after I’ve tried someplace a few times. A lot of people will post a review on one experience and in my opinion it’s not always fair to the business. Every time I’ve been here the food has always been good. The folks here are always nice. This place may not be for everyone but you should give it a try and form your own opinion.

Great service, good food, fair prices. This place was crazy busy when we went. More than once I was told this is where the locals dine. I ordered the french dip and it was delicious.

One of the best places in Winchester to eat. I’ve been going there for a lot of years and never a bad meal. Most everything is home made. The potato salad is the best I’ve ever eaten. Everyone is always friendly. Home town place where home town people meet.

I thought this place was going to have great home cooked food but I was wrong. French Fires are frozen and Breakfast is supposed to be there specialty… I asked them if they home make their biscuits… nope there frozen too. Sadly what could have been a great home cooked meal turned out to be a frozen dinner on a white plate.

OK at best. The food is good, if you go on the right day. Went here with family a few weeks ago, and they were served vegetable soup that looked as if it was at least a week old, and was VERY sour to the taste as if it had seriously gone bad. I ordered wing dings, which were really good with great fries, so I guess you could say hit and miss with the food, which overall quality has dramatically gone down through the last 10 years. Some of the elderly patrons that hang around there will stare you down and act as if you are a murderer if you’re not gray haired, which is a major downside for me since I am in my 20s.

I don’t go there necessarily for the food. I got to sit at the counter, b.s. with the staff, then grab something to eat. I wasn’t surprised to hear how long some of the staff had been there… cause so many customers and staff were on a first name basis. What I was surprised was how long they worked there, 27, 20, 16, 15, 8 years, and not even a paid birthday off. No cake, no gift card, no acknowledgement of dedication their profession. A lot of the regulars felt the same way. You seldom hear employees staying at one company that long. We all know how hard restaurant work is. If someone remembered me on my birthday, I would sell a heck of a lot more food.

Run of the mill country diner. Good breakfast spot. The food is dirt cheap and pretty filling. I can get down with that. They have plenty of local reads at the entrance. I like the pancakes and sausage. They also have a two for $ 17 deal for dinner with quite the selection. Can’t go wrong with that. There is plenty of seating as well. It isn’t pretentious and the food isn’t the greatest, but it is worthy for the price.
