I can only review the pizza quality and the dining in experience, but both are great. Peroni on tap, large meatlovers pizza is what we come back for! The service is always friendly. The pizza quality is very consistent between the visits, the one time I ordered it to carry out, it was quick. I am delighted to have a place like this close to home!

Couldn’t agree more with the one star reviews — the food is borderline at best and certainly not good enough to put up with the terrible service — especially on the part of the owner — who, you would think, would care about his business. Give up the restaurant business and get into cable TV where crappy service is expected.

We’ve gotten takeout here for several years. They had a rocky start, but I highly recommend it. The pizza is very good and the Spaghetti Posillipo is my favorite. I get it every few months or so. On weekend nights, the tables are full, so I don’t understand why their rating is so low.

The«Incident» –Around 6:50 p.m. on Saturday evening I placed an order for a meatball sub, french fries and a buffalo chicken salad, I was told that the delivery would be 45 to 30 minutes(yes, she said it backwards… but whatever). Around 8:25 p. m… no food… 8:35 p. m…no food… 8:38 p.m. I called the number and just kept ringing for about 2 minutes. No voicemail, no answer… 8:48 p.m. I called and was able to reach someone. I politely stated that our order had been placed nearly 2 hours prior. I was told that it had left«awhile ago and should be there by now.» Really? 8:55 p.m. Food arrives. I asked if the food was cold or if they had waited to cook it so it would be fresh when it arrived, she said, «you know we wouldn’t do that to you…» Regrettably, I still gave her a 20% tip. Well the food had basically turned into mush. The meatball wasn’t even luke warm, the fries were a box of soggy crap and the salad was watered down and barely had any buffalo sauce. It was literally inedible. I should mention that I have had above average service from this place for quite awhile but the last few times have been spotty at best. I called almost immediately after checking over the food and spoke with the owner’s son. Not sure of his name but I could definitely tell he was sorry and overwhelmed. I told him that the food was nearly inedible and I was extremely disappointed in the service that evening. He offered to send more food which I politely refused because I was tired of waiting. It had already been over 2 hours at this point! I told him that I wanted to speak with the owner if he couldn’t issue a full refund. He let me know his Dad would be back on Monday and that I should speak with him then. I said ok and my companion and I forced down about 40% of the food. ITGETSWAYYYYYWORSE So, I called Victor Castillo(Castilla?) today, Monday at 7:03 p.m. Worst mistake ever! I seriously should’ve just let this go and never ordered from them again but here I sit venting my frustration about this business simply because of the way my complaint was handled. As soon as Victor got on the phone, he literally didn’t stop talking. He started by making a bunch of excuses as to why my food was delivered late. He said that his people were ‘trying to impress him by showing him they could run the place by themselves,’ he also said that he ‘doesn’t like doing delivery for this very reason.’ He just kept going on and on about how his business wasn’t equipped, nor was he motivated, to deliver the service he advertises. He advertises delivery and carryout. Quite frankly, if his son would’ve called me and said that the delivery would be 2.5 times longer than promised, I would’ve been happy to drive and pick up the food. But they didn’t give me the chance. But I digress. The emphasis that I am attempting to place on the failure of this business is that I wanted a full credit for the food that was almost inedible and I wanted his assurance that this sort of problem would be addressed. Mainly because I want to order from there again. But now I will never order from there. I hope that you make that same decision. DONOTORDERFROMHERE. If anything, don’t order out of the principle fact that the owner literally doesn’t want to run his own business to it’s full scale and potential. This isn’t that relevant but at one point in my completely asinine conversation with Victor, he tried to imply that I was threatening him physically. He started yelling at me to give him my personal information so he could find me and make sure I don’t threaten him again. At that point, I lost all desire to continue any sort of productive conversation with him and I told him that I am fully within my legal rights to publicize his business’ complete and utter failure on the web and that I wasn’t threatening him in any way. Long story short, the owner of the business doesn’t care how his customers are treated and he didn’t want to compromise with me to make me happy. Total Fail Pizza Amore. If the owner would’ve cared, I wouldn’t be writing this.

The sign still says«Pizza Amore» outside, but the menu says«Castiglia’s», so I’m guessing that Castiglia’s has moved here and not changed the sign. The decoration inside looks redone since the last time I was here as well, and its not an improvement. Anyways, we ordered a large pizza with green peppers, onions, banana peppers on the whole thing and ham on half as well. It took 30 minutes to get a pizza with no other customers there… thats weird. Ham wasn’t on the pizza at all when I got home and checked it out. That I wouldn’t have minded so much, but the pizza was just a soggy mess(we live less than four minutes away, so it didn’t suffer from sitting around too long). The green peppers were not fresh, not even close. Way too much cheese and it was strange in its texture. I didn’t order mushrooms, but I would suspect they used canned here. Dough was good, that I’ll give them. Other than that it was dismal.

Thank God there is a McDonald’s next door. I am honestly surprised that this place even gets to stores. The marinara sauce taste like it came out of a jar, the waiter brought our appetizer salad and meal out at the same time. we had to ask for Parmesan cheese which also came out of the jar, and he never did bring the bread that was supposed to come with the meal. our waiter was not very good at all, thank God there was another waitress that was able to refill our drinks. being new to the area, I had heard from my neighbors that this place used to be very good. Not anymore. I have had better meals at fast food restaurants, namely McDonald’s.I can honestly say this is one restaurant I will not give a second chance to.

Food is good. Been ordering here since they opened. The owner Victor was so incredibly rude to me when there was a mistake in my order that I tore up the menu and will never order from there again. We’ll go back to Anthony’s

Just ordered here today… got the Mild Chicken Wings and Personal Margarita Pizza. Just okay. First off, the wings were not really wings, they were more like tiny pieces of fried chicken with dipping sauces. At least they weren’t filling, but I came away disappointed, considering I was hoping for seasoned wings to the point where you were licking your fingers off from the sauces(and going through dozens of napkins in the process). Secondly, for the pizza. This is a heavy tomato based pizza, and it was just alright. Crust was moist, not really crusty, but not overly chewy. At least that was filling enough, but not stuffing. Being from New Jersey, maybe my pizza expectations are a bit high, but this one was not one to remember. I’ll try a pasta dish next time. I mean really, they can’t mess up pasta, can they? For $ 21(with tip) for one person, this was a bit expensive, but I’ll give it one more chance with the pasta. Stick with Roma or Gio’s.
