This contractor has businesses«The Solar Spot», «The Electric Man», «Current Power Electric Inc» and is an electrician by the name of Robert Alvarez. Note the photos, the missing tile pictures were taken immediately after install. The replaced roofing does not run all the way to the tiles as agreed upon. Note the damage all around the panel to the drywall, I have before pictures as well. Drywall was in the contract, but no drywall was done and I was left with what’s in the photo. I did not get the correct inverter features that were actively sold to me and promised and the MAIN reason I went with this over leasing. He refused to honor his contract or take responsibility for his actions. I had contractors double check his work and found problems and NEC code compliance issues the inspectors missed. After complaining about his work and needing to report him to the CSLB(Contract State License Board) he threatened lawsuits(his associate Robert Decker threatened a lien for DARINGTOMENTION that I did not get what was in the contract) and other improper behavior. He completely ruined my relationship with my neighbor, he got my neighbors so worked up over what he did that they were threatening to tear down my solar install. After that my neighbors report he broke something of his and Robert REFUSED to fix it blaming my neighbor that«he only wants stuff for free». My neighbor had quite enough money to take care of the item, he just wanted responsibility taken. — He failed the inspection TWICE and charged me EXTRA for *code compliance* and well ABOVETHEAVERAGERATE for what was performed. I was actually told MORE items«failed» and I would need to pay for correction, however when I got the report from the city THEITEMSWERENOTTHERE. ** Even after me he had installs that had code issues that needed revision. *He was flagged in building review for not having the proper amperage on components –Just like one of the things the checking contractor flagged in my install that was not correct on my install – . The city missed this, but I have the report from the contractor that did the inspection. It’s not the same components, but the same issue of amperage. *Also, there was one where he was flagged for not pulling all the proper permits(Records state that a panel permit was needed). * I have the permits for reference if needed. — AFTER signing the contract and I already had LOANFEES, I was told that I either pay more because I have a TILEROOF or they will VIOLATE contract and leave me with loan fees or perform sub quality work because the extra fees were needed for quality. A tile roof is easy to see BEFORE the bid was made. — He deviated from the electrical plans he submitted to the city and also did not fulfill his contract. — He had a salesman not licensed as a HIS, and not on Alverez’s license. — He had multiple violations of contract license law. — The conduit was not placed legally(Inspectors only inspect for CODE compliance), he refused to move it. — I asked him not to come early as he wakes up my daughter, he did so anyways not caring about the pain he was causing. — I asked him to stop using my ladder as he had his own on the truck, but he did it anyways not caring about rules or boundaries He has had legal action against him in the past, which can be an indicator of certain personality types. There is more being added, after the conclusion of a government actions and any continued hostile actions will be added. I never received an apology for any of his behavior, only excuses. Blaming me, blaming my neighbors, blaming the contractor’s that did the inspection. I had a token amount of what it would take to correct offered but not admitting any responsibility for his actions, the misrepresentations, or apologizing. His first offer was minuscule in relation to the cost of correction. — If things were not misrepresented leaving me at a large loss, it would not have gone this far. — If he actually had feelings towards others other than himself and respected my boundaries and the LAW it would not have gone this far. — If he took responsibility for his behaviors, it probably would not have gone this far — If he had not maliciously threatened me with frivolous lawsuits because I reported him to the CSLB to have the items taken care of it would not have gone far. — If he had looked at my proof of damage I provided him and not tried to create stories and find out how to get out of it. Instead actually taking care of it it would not have gone this far. — If he had decided not to blame my neighbors for a small repair and just done it would of helped my impression of him, although the other bigger items would still exist
